(ARAM patch) - Concerning Rerolls

So I posted this in the comments section for the patch 6.12 rundown because I think this is a good idea and a quality of life buff for aram players who DON'T have an ARAM only account:

"So the aram ReRoll system looks like this: *+30 points per game plus 1x number of champions owned; 250 points = one Reroll up to a maximum of 2 Rerolls (500 points max). Here's the deal: If a person owns 95 champions, they can get a reroll every other game (30+95 times 2 games = 250 points) SO...you can own the best 95 ARAM champions AND get a reroll every other game, I know it's a random format but, the very, VERY UNFAIR point is that a player can CUT OUT the bottom 36 champions (131 total atm) from their champion pool. (YES there are websites that have aram win data on all champions {such as metasrc.}) So what I'm suggesting is that players with over 95 champions, should get a Roll-Over amount of Reroll progress, yes kind of like cellphone companies...so that maybe every few games they would get a special third reroll to have in stock. Im not saying that you should have 3 rerolls in champ-select I'm saying 2 max rerolls. AND THEN the 3rd reroll would just max out your 500 possible points if it fell below 250. Here's an example: if I have 500 points, I can have 250 possible floating points to refill my 500 if it drops to 250/500 or below. thank you for your time reading this."

I think doing something like this would help players who own quite a few champions have a better chance to win a game here-and-there to make up for players who use aram only accounts and help balance the format a little bit with out ruining or completely changing what ARAM is.

I like the idea but we could just enable all champions unlocked and do away with the reroll system. Even if we must keep it just make it a flat number. Being a guy who owns every champion it is frustrating that I am at a statistical disadvantage but that part doesnt matter to me as much as knowing riot could fix it at a whim.

So rito games isnt going to do that. Its a very good idea from a gameplay standpoint BUT it means people not getting hyped up about buying new champions. Look they HAVE to make money to have the game continue. its not free to have so many employees and giving all of the champs for ARAM to new players would honestly wreak their revenue. -If they prefer the game mode to summoner's rift it is a big loss.

having this in mind I was trying to think of a better solution. people need to make money and live well, especially if they are providing a service that has many people enjoying themselves

I'm not so sure accounts with 95 champs could still be called "ARAM-only accounts." In terms of time/RP, I'm tempted to think they'd be more interested about the top 36 champs, rather than the bottom 36.

Anyway, it'd be nice, but not particularly pressing, to have more uses for reroll points. Maybe shift the algorithm to account for the higher number of champs since ARAM came out. Maybe even raise the reroll limit for the same reason. Not sure.

For dealing with ARAM-optimized accounts, I'd prefer sharing individual champ pools over just enabling all champs. Rather than rolling champs based on each player's personal roster, combine the rosters of every player in a given match first. It still stops ARAM-optimized accounts, yet doesn't remove the purpose of buying and owning champs. Free-week rotation already exists, so it's not like playing a champ you don't own would be a new concept.

As an ARAM only player I completely agree. I also own all of the champs. Also im tired of getting champ shards in the chests LOL.
