Lethality

With this new stat you took away armor pen and made it scale by enemies level that's fine. But now adc are going to be much stronger with lethality than actual assassins since bot lane is usually a lower level than anyone else they in turn will actually be doing more with this stat than assassins. I called it first and I say this will be a problem in the new season.

Uh, no. It scales on your opponent's level, not your opponent's level minus your level. It's not like Giant Slayer, where having less health makes you do more damage.

It could be a problem on ADCs, but not for the reason you gave.

The reason I gave was if bot is a lower level than mid then they have more armor pen vs the mid than the mid has on them that's all I was saying lol

Lethality was a mistake.

Yea so true IMO if they want assassins to be anywhere as good now not just even good but just compare to mages I feel they should make lethality boots just like mpen boots

How is it going to be a problem? Lethality provides less damage than armor pen early. Meaning early-mid game it won't be as powerful as armor penetration. The reason why ADCs built armor pen in the first place was the early power spike it gave. With lethality we hit that early-mid game power spike.

Lethality is stronger on higher level targets and early game is when adcs buy armor pen so that means lethality is doing more for adcs than for actual assassins

It is going to be the same... as long as they have the same target. Plus even if it was stronger on ADCs, which it won't be, what would be the problem? It is weaker than before because it doesn't provide the same early game damage as armor pen.

The point is adcs will be able to use early lethality far more efficiently than assassins

No they won't. They are both lower level and fight a lower level target.

In all botlane scenarios, Lethality translates to less armor penetration than marksmen currently typically get.

we'll see how it plays out I feel that bot win rates will rise while assassin win rates will fall but that's just my opinion

"I say this will be a problem in the new season." If it is weaker there is no problem lol

Lethality made Hybrid Pen Runes on mages obsolete.

I will never use these now...I want my ip back for Hybrid Quints.

Lol that's true

They will do no more damage than if they were to take armor pen runes on live, which hasn't been an issue.

Lethality can never outscale the old flat pen, at lvl 18 they become equal.
