I say this given that even with autofill active I almost always get top even with support as my secondary
Simply put people are not wanting to play top. It is not anywhere as impactful as it once was and in turn people are flocking to more impactful positions.
Top needs some help
RenownedWheat422 votesI wouldn't say it's not near as impacting, the problem is just what's happening in the lane these days. In season 6 I could take Garen against any match-up and win at least half the time. These days, even when I counter-pick, it feels like I lose more than I win.
Laning phase for top has gotten to be a little hellish imo.
Angelofchaos16x1 votesI couldn't disagree more. Top is fine the way it is , with a plethora of champions being at least good picks. Top laners can also snowball more then any 1v1 (Except tank vs tank). And the thing is , since top takes teleport , if they become more important then they are , they will take over the entire map and everyone will complain.
