Why is a champion allowed to build pure tank, kite indefinitely, do a shit-ton of damage, and have ridiculous CC? Gnar should build damage to do damage. You know, a concept that ALL OF THE OTHER CHAMPIONS HAVE TO FUCKING DEAL WITH. But not Gnar. Gnar is Riot's special snowflake.

Oh nice, he built 1 half-offensive item... And ended up out-damaging everyone else. Even squishies who built full offense. Right. And yes, when he turns into mini gnar, all of his defensive items disappear and he becomes vulnerable.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesAs support I often deal quite a bit more champion damage than the top laner and jungler, and sometimes the ADC as well with only supporty items. That doesn't mean my champion should be nerfed, it means that I have a very high uptime of attacking the enemy.
A single graph where a Gnar did a little more damage than second place means nothing at all. Especially when his lane opponent is a tanky sustaining melee who would be getting a lot of harass during laning phase.

As if Olaf was stupid enough to try take Mini Gnar, or that Gnar can actually stay as Mini 24/7, or that Olaf has a Q & an ult that grants movement speed & CC-immunity to catch up to opponents.

I've actually had games similar to that on tanks. when your on a roll and waste no time and always happen to be at right place right time these types of scores can happen. I'd have to look at his other games.
looked at his other games and while not as strong they certainly aren't lacking in the dmg department. you can tell he play him a lot too. so im sure that plays a part in it. and most of it as ad. i'd like to say it was thornmail doing a fair bit but not really. i do think he's worth keeping an eye on.
