I dont know if its jsut me being tilted, but this is why i lost faith in soloq

So don't trust anyone with yasuo on my team (or just in general over the years ive played on league I've slowly stopped trust others) like everytime i see a yasuo they always feeed, and even if there not on my team they usually go like 2 and 10 or 3 and 12, maybe this isn't for everyone but i feel like it is for me

-But point is had a dude who plays yas and yeah I'm a dick because i lost all faith in trusting my teammates in soloq so i ban yas

-he flames me and i just say i don't trust you and that's all

-he says hes hella good at yasuo, so i check it out this dude has a 37% winrate with yasuo and its his most played champ

we win the game

-so i queue up and wow i get the same dude, begs me to not ban yas, i loosen up and give him the benefit of the doubt; let him play yas

he goes 3 and 15 and starting raging like a baby

-and it wasn't even that he was having a bad game, he'd go in for any single knockup didn't matter if it killed him, he'd go in and he just try to 1v5 everytime

-i don't wanna be like your the only reason we lost... but man everyone else was doing pretty ok and he was just inting like nuts...

Moral of the story: from now on ill never ever give the benefit of the doubt to anyone ever again

p.s. I'm abit tilted from it so maybe the logic isn't all there

Banning out a persons champion is a really jerk move. That said I will always ban LeeSin Evelynn Nidalee Yasuo Vayne away from my teammates. I mean come on, you know you're not mechnically good enough to carry on these champs, and will probably be a detriment in teamfights. If you're just playing for fun, go to normals. The only time I apologize is if I see they have a 55% win rate with said champ over 60+ games. I also offer to dodge for being a jerk. It makes me SLIGHTLY less of a jerk, but still a jerk.

Yeah I feel you on that. There are exceptions to the rule though. Like I main Ekko(69%w/r) and Warwick (57% w/r). Most people wouldn't ban them on me. However, I have multiple accounts, and sometimes I like to screw around. So my WW win rate on my other account is 43% with over twice as many games played (and at a slightly lower elo). This doesn't make me a bad Warwick per say, it just means on the one account I make better decisions as opposed to the other. Like going Warwick support. Or AP Warwick support. Don't play AP WW support kids.

So you already claim that you're deliberately dicking around to likely throw despite knowing what to properly do, and people are banning you out from doing that. Whats the problem then? IMO banning you out from fucking up their game is more correct

Exception to the rule meaning your win % is not ALWAYS reflective of your skill with the champ. That's all I was saying. At no point am I complaining about getting banned out, as I said before I rarely ever get banned out.

I can understand your frustration. Everyone has certain champions they don´t want to see on their team. Mine are ezreal and sivir, but despite all that i still, don´t start banning them, because A, there are more important targets to ban, and B, you don´t know how this person might react. I have seen people deliberately throwing games, bitching and flaming just because someone banned their champ.

As much as people talk down to yas players it´s actually really tough to be a yas main. Noone trusts you, but everyone will flame you if are not stomping your lane. Your champ is constantly banned, even by your own "teammates" who try to sabotage you.

Im gonna play devil's advocate for a bit(coming from a yas main with above 50%)

It sucks to have a Feedsuo, or to be one lol Plus there are plenty in the bunch who are just dying to chat rage at you when they start losing. All those frustrated souls dying from salt overdose are unpleasant, BUT they maybe playing on tilt for more than just losing.

The thing about him is good or bad everyone fking hates you before you even get in game lol Here's a list of a few things i've noticed as Yas (my experiences take it as you will)

  1. The enemy JG will probably love the fuck out of you, and your jungler is probably going to default avoid your lane like plague. Obviously this is because meme Yasuo will shove that wave mindlessly. So what jg is going to expect their yas to not be pushed? I let my enemies shove or keep a decent hold on wave positioning pre 6 because of this. I don't expect my jg to come ever, because even if I type a min ahead "gonna let em push come gank" 9/10 times there will be no response- no gank. If you pick Yasuo , expect a camp; expect to be solo dealing with it.
  2. I say again everyone hates you, especially if you're learning/practicing him. Doesn't matter if its norms. People will ban your pick to spite you, talk shit to you after death 1, often won't answer any of your pings etc. Unless you're stomping ass you can't expect much cooperation. Also if you do put in the hours to learn him, expect him to be banned a lot in the draft modes lol
  3. The above combined with his skill ceiling is tilting to deal with and you gotta be moist with zen to mentally negate these things.

My point: Unless that Yasuo is starting the douchey shit right away, try being a little more encouraging/helpful when you see poor not-arkadatas XD Chances are if that person is really trying to learn they're receiving so much hell for it and no one is willing to help. They've jumped into a salt pit and they're dying XD

If you're jg, try telling the yas to not shove so you can gank. Make build suggestions in game, or match up strategies that work well on their enemy if you know them. If they die early, DON'T make a negative comment. Yas is one of the few champs that can take 2 deaths even playing safe and still come back hard. The trick is to not give any if you can and really set a hard limit at 2 before you're a total chicken. If you can get your Yasuo to not be a lunch lady and be patient you're in much better shoes to win.

Honestly I think people chatting up builds and tips would be great to have more of in general, and its still a two-way street on how you treat each other. I fully agree with muting meme Yasuo and leaving him to the wolves. I can't really support auto-banning the champ either.

js. Sry about your Yas XD

see I totally get you, I didn't try to flame him; id tell him to play back since jg was camping him but he'd just mindlessly pushed into the turret and just got kkilled everytime and he was tilting off the face of the planet. And I don't really hate yasuo or people that play him, I think that meme is hella stupid, I just dislike that why play him in ranked if your not good with him because his skill cap is pretty high and his learning curve is pretty high too like it takes awhile to get pretty decent at yas, but like don't pick him in ranked if you have no idea what your doing

You can literally do these things with any pick though. Its the player not the champ.

Although I personally agree that said person shouldn't make the decision to just jump yas into rank not knowing anything. I double not recommend it because of what I said before about the jungles and how people treat you.

Yas is sitting at 44-49 overall win rate I have 51-60 (higher than average) depending on site you check and STILL we're on boards and someone directly tried to bash me for even saying I play him XD Not even in game and my point gets proven

Even with said difficulties I can't advocate just default banning someones pick, though I can agree with you if you see 37% winrate with bad cs on their records. In your shoes I'd be trying to convince them to let me ban it or convince them to go someone else I guess. Ban em and they troll? Or let em take and feed anyway? Its kind of damned if you do damned if you don't in some cases.

"Yas main" with 51% winrate at 250+ games and 1.9KDA so you're basically killing someone as much as you're dying (7.8:7.9 K:D actually so more dying). Despite calling yourself a yas main for every game you hard carry and have a huge KDA theres an equal amount where you are a deadweight and hard feed. This is why people hate yasuo players on top of hating to face an oppressive and annoying champ. Match history shows way more hard feeds than anything resembling a carry

That and you more play Teemo even more than yasuo, equally poorly.

So yes even if you said you were a yas main I'd ban that champ away from you

Few things

  1. my personal success rate has nothing to do with whether or not my points were valid
  2. attacking me personally like "you're bad at your champ" is a.) your opinion b.) exactly the kind of attitude the game doesn't need anymore. Yeah I sucked HARD forever, because no one practiced with me, no one helped me, I had to hard learn myself whats bad and whats not.
  3. You're a dick

Pro tip: Yasuo isnt a magical counter to every mage because he has Windwall. At best, he can counter champions like Ziggs, who has a pure skillshot kit
