Dodged her stun 11x, got hit once into instant R. Dead even though I have MR. Came back to clear the minions under turret since she also has great waveclear. Got hit by a super long range stun behind my turret.... Flash and press R Syndra skills. Dead again. Time in lane: 6 seconds. Fun time. Much balanced.
I even tried Kassadin vs Syndra and a good Syndra still shits on Kassadin because he has no waveclear and is melee.

and while i don't think syndra is "OP", i do know the matchup from both sides... and yeah, syndra pretty much hard-counters him...
It doesn't help Ziggs has a 325 base MS so he's easy to hit.
How much MR did you have?
And how fed was she? And were u behind?

she is typically bad vs ad burst champs with gap closers , 
use to be a big counter to her in lane but then they removed his silence
the thing about syndra. she somewhat. the person who plays syndra controls the lane because she has the potential to beat you no matter what you can do . because she can simply stack sphereres and ult you for 80% of your hp.
I like her whole sphere concept, and it makes for very interesting gameplay, but that ult is just cancer. If they're taking away burst from assassins they need to take some away from the other burst champs.
and maybe 
Give them buffs somewhere else, but instant deletions are not really made for fun gameplay.
