Last Whisper and Armor Questions

After doing a bit of thinking about armor, I had a few questions:

  • Rammus Starts the game with 31.4 armor at level 1, and 104.5 at level 18. I assume his level 1 armor is his base armor, but are the extra 72.1 he gains from levels counted as base armor or bonus armor? Stats coming from here.
  • Armor from Runes and Masteries: Bonus or Base armor?
  • At what point in time is a item 3035,item 3036, or item 3033 more useful than the extra AD from a item 3072 ?
  • Is the on-hit damage (6% of current health) from item 3153 negated by armor?
  • Does the flat armor pen from item 3142 and item 3156 apply before or after the item 3035 calculation?

  1. That entirely depends on the base armor of a target and the bonus armor they have. You are not going to get a good rule of thumb that's reliable from the math.
  2. All physical damage is reduced by armor. BoRK passive is physical damage.
  3. % Bonus armor pen applies after %armor shred and before % total armor pen, which applies before flat armor pen.

Depends... If he the only one stacking armour on the enemy team then i would just get item 3072 or item 3139 and ignore him and kill everyone else. Let the mages deal with Rammus .

If someone else is stacking armour i would probably get a item 3035 as a 3rd item then finish my more essential items then turn it into item 3036 ..

Bonus armor is only from: Runes, Masteries, Items.

noone answered first part of your question yet, that 72.1 extra armor counts as base, everything else (runes, masteries, items) is bonus
