Make it so that item 3364 is not all around the better option at level 9 to item 3341 ? When compared to the wards, item 3340 is used to have multiple, invisible wards whereas item 3363 is used to have safe but noticeable wards. The relationship between these two trinkets are that they are sidegrades of each other. There is not clear superior and they both have their own purpose.

But item 3341 is just the prerequisite to item 3364 . There's no meaningful thought process to change to item 3364 because it's all around better at doing everything item 3341 does; it's an upgrade. Can we at least give players some incentive to keeping item 3341 in the new season?

item 3341 has a range in which you can activate it, if you would like a safe version where you can be outside of most skill ranges while activating it, where item 3364 is an AOE around your champion, putting you into threat range to spot/disable the ward. so in that sense you could argue that its got its niche benefits

i say they should add charges to the place-able one once you hit 9, and keep the one that follows you around as is

They could easily buff it by giving it extra casting range based on level.
