Champions that are hard to play ... shouldnt be given raw power
champions like azir/zed/yasuo riven and lee sin
those champions have one thing in common ... their kits are hard to use mainly due to their micro managing -azir needs to constantly reposition soldiers in a way that allows him to get autos off them -zed needs to blink from spot to spot /dodge and attack ... all of this while paying attention to where his shadows are ... he can cast his spells from 3 places at once -yasuo's basic attacks are skillshots ... he needs to dodge and react very swiftly all of this while managing his flow and steel tempest stacks for the greatest effect -riven is simpler in her nature ... but her entire kit is composed of dashes she has to mix with autos... it takes a lot of skill to properly utilize them -lee sin requires top tier mechanical skills ... he requires you to be really flexible while managing his energy and creating his combos
there are more champions like this but there is one thing that i consider really problematic about those champions when they get raw power ... their entire difficulty becomes a bonus ... allowing them to just outperform anything else ... while normal player can just play the champion and do good without doing anything difficult
they easily become insanely oppressive due to all the stuff their kits allow on top of having a good amount of power that doesn't require any skill to use
I think that this is something riot is doing really often ... where they create a hard to play champion and then outfit him with power to just not give a damn about all the hard to use aspects of his kit
If a champion is hard to play ... his effectiveness should be tied mainly to the player's capability of utilizing his kit ... not to sheer power and front loaded damage
