PSA: As a Support, please build a sightstone

Hear me out here: I've had four games now where the support has not built a sightstone until > 20 minutes in the game. In 2 games, I've had a support blatantly refuse to build one, for whatever reasons. Only at the recommendation of the team did one actually buy one. The other continued to refuse.

I'm sorry if you want to play some ridiculous supports like Imaqtpie does, but you sir/madam are not Imaqtpie. You can't Gangplank support like he can. You are not challenger (unless you are, then do whatever the fuck you want; my bronze self can't tell you what to do).

I'm sorry if you don't think we need vision around objectives because you need other stats first.

I'm sorry if you feel like you need to put on the carry pants and build full AD Thresh (when you queue as the support).

Like, I don't feel like that's something that needs to be said. Am I wrong for saying that? To me, any time I support, it's a no brainer; it's my job as a support to get vision and keep people alive with sight. Doing anything else, outside of a group of friends who are OK with messing around, is just silly and hurts the team. If the jungler wants to build a sightstone for extra vision, cool. No problem. But it should not be a buy that is forced by other players who don't want to build it.

Sorry guys, to me there's nothing simpler than just knowing your job in a role. As a support, vision is your job. That along with protecting the carries/engaging on their carries. Glad we had this heart to heart.
