Remember when I said these Xin Zhao buffs weren't that bad?
I was wrong...horribly, horribly wrong. I'm sorry guys :'(

At least it's not Jax buffs.
Yet...
I'm OK with admitting I was wrong with that judgement.
hey the buffed on hit xin why not jax?

Imagine if he had a real weapon.
People still defend him for some reason how you can cc him, the most retarded argument in history of arguments.
I do think defending him is fair, these buffs didn't do much apart from making his early game a little stronger which is nice for jungle clear mostly, the cc thing is something that can be said for about half of the champions in the game right now. Yes Xin is pretty strong right now but he was already strong before this buff, people just didn't play him as much. Now that he's buffed he gets played and then eventually people play other champions again and he's back to the way he was before this buff.

Oh they didn't? He crits now for free, and heals for more, why? Cause why the fuck not, when Riot dumpsters him I will come here and say "I told you so". Until then, good day.
It's a 0.2 ratio on his heal scaling from bonus AD... That's nothing, seriously. And the crits deal 25% extra damage instead of the 100% of normal crits, at rank 1 going up to 75% at rank 5. Sure this extra bit of damage is nice but it's not that big of a buff, he was strong already so sure the buffs weren't needed but these buffs didn't make him OP in the slightest.
It's just that people play him more right now because he got buffed and they realized he's not so bad. And he's only an issue in bronze/silver anyway, his kit is just made to be an issue there.
It's not about the fact that it doesn't do the full crit damage. It means he can just do more every third auto. Not to mention if you're like me who just gets Sated on him, it happens every other auto, meaning more heals, more crits, and more damage.
If I can 1v3 a garen, yi, and Fizz, and still come out on top, there's a problem.
I been constantly hearing in my damn games "just CC him and he's worthless." Yea well as Skarner with a Naut sup, we hit him with a 4 chain cc and killed him. The problem? We had to burn all of those resources just to kill him while the rest of our team died because we couldn't peel the other 4 members off our adc and mid. And the times where we did peel for our adc by stopping other champs? Yea Xin just shreds the rest of us while healing every other damn hit.
I'd never claim that I know more than those who actually program and code, but my god everyone saw this coming.
Honestly removing the crit's all that is needed. The bonus AD healing isn't crazy, specially since if the Xin builds lots of AD, he won't hit very fast and just die before he hits the third time. The crit isn't needed.

It's still every third with Sated? I swear I was critting every other attack the moment I got sated.
Even if it's still every third auto, it's still enough attack speed that it doesn't even matter.
xin has a 56.7% winrate in norms..
Hence why I said I was wrong that these weren't big buffs.
buffs? you mean the 1 change to him W which added a 75% bonus damage crit and a .3 bonus ad heal ratio. Yes this buff isn't that big. Xin healing has always been this good a .3 bonus ad ratio is only like 20 + healing on his W late game adding 20 healing late game isn't big. the 75% bonus third AA is nice but not noticeable

Those buffs were not small and the statistics are starting to reflect that.
His W critical hit also works with Warlord's Bloodlust I believe. Combined with Xin Zhao's stupidly low cooldowns he can almost permanently have the extra attack speed and another heal.
it does work with warloards. but thunderloard xin is still better in my opinion
fervor xin is 10x better than tlords or warlords. Its Fervor or SotA, nothing else.
ATTACK SPEED.
you mean how they didn't buff that at all. Yep logic.
They buffed his W to work with warlord's bloodlust. That mean's he can get a permanent +30% attack speed while in combat with champions. Before he would have had to build very high crit chance to do that.
Also, since they lowered the cooldown of his E at Rank 1 (and it doesn't decrease with rank now), he no longer needs to max it early, so putting points in W is now viable.
thats massive buff because now he can stay at 100 percent health during clears which are nwo much faster tahnks to his crit thing. so now he can gank top with red buff and blue buff while they are still level 2 and get a free first blood almost every time. and now late game he can get upwards of an extra 100 healing so on hit devourer hybrid xin is so much better
The real issue was the E change. E is now a static cd so maxingit doesnt reduce cd. Most xins maxed e for better ganks, but now that you dont have to do that, you can just max your biggest source of sustain, attack speed steroid, and all the other goodness first and do WAY more damage. Also, you can even max q second now for even more of the yummy knockup goodness.
Why is this guy being downvoted?
And yet they also buff Poppy, who is also in a really strong state already.
U mean "they nerf Poppy"?
They nerfed Poppy, not buffed her.
Nerfing the hero? Riot confirmed to be Villains. Call
.
She is nerfed. She now cant go full tank and has to build a damage item to do the same damage
Hold on, what part of "longer cooldowns and less Q damage" sounds like "buff" to you?
Uhm..who are you?
I made a thread the other week analyzing these changes and argued they weren't so bad.
After reviewing the changes more thoroughly after the patch launched, I discovered they were more significant than I thought.
Wheni i heard about the xin buffs i told the guy that told me immediately after i looked them over....the guy who thought it was a good idea to do that to a borderline broken champ was the biggest dumbass employed by riot
I don't get it, is he supposed to be good?
He's literally the same champ except does a little more dmg in the event he can actually touch something
He has free crits every 3 attacks and now with just
he gets full hp after taking scuttle.
They changed nothing about the AP scaling on his W, and the AD scaling is so little it has almost no effect, it just takes a buff for people to realize a champion was already good.
But that's the thing. Xin was already good. He needed no buffs, and now that he even has free crits, he can keep on building his typical hybrid things without even falling off; and as I said, it's Rageblade that really pushes this over the border, in case you haven't realised yet you get base AD, AP and build up both AD and AP by hitting. Add in a Sated to make the healing effectively double and build up Rageblade instantly and a Spirit Visage and you have something closely resembling a better version of Illaoi.
I know and I agree that he didn't really need the buffs apart from maybe his level 1 jungle clear, which I think this did pretty well. I'm just saying these buffs hardly matter because he already did all of this, the ad ratio on W is almost non existent and the crits are nice in my opinion but nothing too op, the crits deal reduced damage anyway. Thus agreeing with the first guy. It is very simple to avoid a Xin by warding, like you should do anyway, there's a lot of worse things out there...

Here I am to say "I told you so", there are already nerfs to him on the pbe.
It doesn't have no effect, it's a free
. Remember: on hit healing is better than lifesteal, since it isn't reduced by armor. The lower cooldown on his E is also pretty substantial early game, since he can max Q and still have his E up twice quickly in a skirmish.

Free crit on 3rd hit is significant considering it can deal regular crit damage at max rank. Using appropriate statistics, it's equal to about 33% crit chance. Which he gets for free.
Also the heal scaling off ad also offers him a better heal which synergizes well with guinsoo's.
It's true not much has changed in terms of who he is, but if he gets to you, it's over pretty much. He's pretty much unduelable, even worse than he already was.
that's okay, I though
got a really minor buff... now he's sitting at 3rd in winrates O_o
