Title says it all, would it bug you guys in the slightest to no longer have autofill in ranked?
Pros:
No more "Idk how to play jg/supp/adc/mid/top"
you won't get forced into a role you're unfamiliar with.
cons:
Longer queue time.
I mean I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say I hate it when I see someone going jg and they play off meta because they don't know how to play a jg champ.
Xozi4 votesIt should be optional. If you want lower queue times, opt in for autofill, if not, then dont. Autofill shouldnt be required, but it should be an option. This would keep high elo matchmaking from going into astronomical queue times, and keep low elo matches from becoming luck based.

The only problem would be is that almost no one (if not ABSOLUTELY no one) would opt in for autofill.

GayFluffyUnicorn1 votesNo just straight remove it along with flex q. All it is is one fuckin scam by riot who said they remove flex Q if it kills q times. Instead we get autofill even in fucking normals so their abomination called DYNAMIC Q can stay alive. They even killed team ranked for it. The one TRUE way to play league, in a team with a name, own rank for your team and all gets removed for this shit. In higher elo an autofilled adc in jungle and vice versa is an instant loss. No need to even try to play the game.

Okay first of all, calling roles is NOWHERE close to what I was suggesting, secondly, it would be select primary and secondary still, no autofill.

The lobbies where things went smoothly were so rare I'd usually tell my other friends that played League about them in detail.

I for one would be willing, I mean autofill's fine for normal, but not in ranked.

yeah, but still forbidding premades of 4 so they can't troll quit. (I've had this last season and it screwed me over in my promos to silver V)

If you autofill, you get "regular/fast queue times(with the current queues)"
If you opt to have no autofill, you get "low prio queue"
If that has too much negative connotation, set no autofill to "default queue time" and autofill to "faster queue time"

Otherwise, we have the insanely long queue times of last season as support secondaries get sick of playing support every single game.
Autofill is also in place to make sure that people who pick support as their secondary aren't forced to play it every single game.

RavenHusky1 votesThe way autofill is set up right now, if you pick support as your secondary, you'll support about half the time. You also won't have to worry about getting autofilled anywhere else.
Otherwise, you should still learn how to play support anyway for the games you do get autofilled, because you will have to play it once every handful of games.

RavenHusky1 votesThen you need to not change your role preferences every time after you play support. Keep Support as your secondary while you're autofill protected, and you're more likely to get your main role.
Also, a lot of people on here don't realize or appreciate that a support that knows what they're doing can tip a game in their team's favor.

420 grams1 votesHow often do people really get auto filled to something other than support? There's only been a handful of times I've been autofilled to something else in normal games, and that was after multiple lobbies of people dodging.
