Can Anyone Confirm...

If Kled is riding Skaarl, and Skaarl only has say 50 HP left and takes 400 damage, Keld doesn't take any of the 350 remaining damage? I feel like I see this a lot as I'm playing Kled.

Confirmed.

Here's a good breakdown:

{quoted}

If Kled is still mounted when you attack him, it is impossible for one instance of damage to kill him outright. Any "overflow" damage more than the amount needed to defeat Skaarl and dismount Kled will be discarded. So don't waste a Veigar or Garen ult on him if Kled is still mounted.

Damage-over-time effects do stay on him, though, even through his momentary untargetability as Skaarl runs out from under him.

TL;DR If Kled has 10 health, but is still mounted and Skaarl has 50 health, Ignite will kill him, but Garen's Demacian Justice will not.

To put it plain and simple its just like Malzahar's anti initiative poke shield except its all the time long as skaarl is up. "You can't one shot him literally", meaning you have to pin him and maul him, which is easier since he loses move speed without skaarl, just impossible if he is already far away, and likely can escape under turret, run in base or plain use pistol shot to gap run away till he gets skaarl back or people give up on him.

If someone can 'confirm' if it will stick the CC on skaarl and not kled himself when skaarl dies while under CC that would help alot since if he doesnt keep the CC that skaarl had on him, then its even more fudgie then malzahaar's shield.
