Seeing little reason right now why not to just pick full off meta bot lane
Just played against an Ahri ADC and a Fizz Support. Tried my best as Twitch, but Ahri did more damage and kept me zoned out. Despite being 100 CS ahead of Fizz, since he was support, I still got nuked for most of my HP and couldn't even 1v1 him. Also of course had a Kayle "Support" who seemed focused on challenging me for every CS, turning a 2v2 into a 1v3.
Saw a Garen support last week that wrecked and as the jungler, I didn't even want to go near him since there's no way I was getting a kill.
Played against a Teemo last night and while he did end up losing, he did strong damage early on and was able to split push putting the hurt on us.
I think we are going to see some changes this season if the ADC's stay weak early on, the game stays snowbally and first tower gold is still rewarded. There's no reason not to camp bot lane, pick full on damage non-support picks and try to blast your way through bot lane early. A successful bot lane is not only going to get you first blood and first turret blood, but also first dragon as well, making a comeback hard.
Yes, the ADC's are very strong late game, but late game means nothing if you can't actually make it there.
