Instead of placing Shaco and his clone anywhere, what if Shaco got to choose where he was placed?

Title. What if the Shaco player got to choose where he was placed at the end of the ultimate so that he had some say in where he would end up after using it? By using the mouse you could choose within a small radius where Shaco was put and where the clone would be put instead of having it be 100% RNG oriented.

I do not think this would break Shaco, especially because most players when trying to run away would choose to go behind the clone and it would be obvious which was which. It doesn't make Shaco "stronger", per se. It just gives him the ability to not get hit by skill-shots or things of that nature that he uses his ultimate to dodge. It prevents him from using his ult and getting stuck in a nearby Cait trap or being forced into a skill shot that would have missed if he hadn't used the ability.

Thoughts?

Shaco is already broken. He was just being dwarfed by Kha and Rengo

Garbage early-game? Check Mid-game that only exists due to abusing lethality? Check Late-game finally able to do what other assassins have been able to since level 3? Check.

Shaco's not broken. He's an assassin that scales with items and has no decent scaling AD on his kit and horrible base ratios. He's good late-game and garbage everywhere else unless he steals kills at the start to get ahead.

He's probably one of the worst assassins out there until he's finally able to do his job.

umm he donest drop below 50% aT any point in the game

in bronze he has a 53% win rate in diamond + he has over 54% win rate and if we only include jungle its OVER 55%

in fact he has the highest win rate... if ANY CHAMP IN THE GAME as of this post.

i dont know what your taking that makes i think Shaco needs a buff... when he NEEDS about a 5% winrate drop.

but w/e it is... i want some...

If you don't know about how statistics work, please don't talk about statistics. Pre-15 win-rate is a complete non-factor because games don't end before 15 minutes.

Shaco's win-rate is only high right now because of the lethality changes.

His winrate sits and has always usually sat around 52%. Plus, Ryze's winrate is below 48 and he's being nerfed because he's too strong. You can't use winrate as a direct correlation of champion strength.

Yeah, Shaco players are the most delusional and whiny playerbase I've ever seen. It actually baffles the mind how in denial they are about how bonkers the champion is right now, and how he's been one of the best-performing junglers since people figured his rework out.

i think it should happen. Hopefully his rework will give him this

He used to be able to do that too.

As a Shaco main, he doesn't really need this. I believe he is already untargetable right when he ults if you need to dodge something. Also if you control where the clone spawns where would your character go? If you're in a fight a spawn your clone somewhere wouldn't it be pretty obvious which one is the clone?

It would likely be something like choosing your location in a small radius around yourself, and your clone spawns opposite of you.

Correct.

The window for reappearing would be waay too short tho.

When you press your ult, where your cursor is will denote which side of your clone you end up on.

Oh so like you would only have like two options, being on the right or left?

Anywhere within the circle radius it puts you at random, yes. The only difference is that you get to choose.

Ok, that might not be so bad then. as long as the range of where you can place him is small I don't think that will be too bad. Only issue I can see is the window for placement would be suuuper short, and if you don't chose in time, it would default to random.

Literally the only thing that would change about anything regarding his ultimate would be that you could choose where within the tiny range it puts you

no. he's fine. no need to OP him.

How would this break him.
