Heck use him nearly killing Cass in a 4v1 and it is clear just how over the top ryze is currently.

The number of times I saw a Jax jump into a full team, get a kill and from time to time even get away would seem to disprove these kinds of arguments.

He was always able to chain root. Only difference is that he's now able to fully do it at level 9 (maxed out snare) rather than at level 11.

Pretty sure he could do it before, I think the recent rework though lets him do it earlier which could be a bit too much. Riot will have to tone it back a little so he isn't hitting full stride so early, he's considered a late game champ for a reason.

I don't want a flat out nerf, I just think that the root should be the exception to the passive. Riot could easily give Ryze something else in return.
