Jarvan's ult traps people, but has bugs and can be dashed out of (or even WALKED out of on occasion). Camille's ult can't be escaped EVEN WITH FLASH!
Yes, J4's ult traps a group & some can probably walk out which happens in rare times, or can simply be dashed out. Camille only traps one person, so good job leaving that out.
Jarvan can counter snares with his E+Q combo. Camille doesn't need to use 2 different abilities to do the same.
J4's EQ combo knocks-up up enemies as well while being also able to dash over walls. Camille's E may also cover great distance, but she can only stuns enemies for a minimal duration.
Jarvan has a decent shield with no stat scaling and a mana cost. Camille has a shield that scales off max HP and no cost.
It scales with the number of enemy champions' hit plus slowing enemies (again, good job leaving it out), while his shield is blockable to all types of damage.
Camille's shield can only block one specific damage type, and her shield type only changes on who Camille targets first. So let's say you accidentally hit Support Sona & gain an AP shield, so good luck using it against Yasuo top, Reksai jungle, Zed mid & Caitlyn ADC.
Jarvan has built-in ArPen. Camille can do true damage and bonus magic damage with her ult.
Armor Penetration on enemies, not just on himself like Darius. So technically, enemies' Armor was lowered for J4's whole team. Camille's True Damage on the other hand only benefits herself.
Conclusion? Yes, comparing champions like this is INDEED wrong.
