Anyone feel as if cho is overloaded?

I mean what doesnt he have?

  • Silence
  • Knockup
  • Slow
  • Massive point and click true damage nuke
  • % health E
  • Scaling
  • Sustain
  • Ok laning
  • Insane mid-late
  • Infinite scaling hp
  • What are these AP scalings

But no mobility, so he must be a Juggernaut right?????????? Wrong. He has 2 hard cc 1 hard cc abilities with a slow and silence.

He can also just build item 3800 item 3143 with summoner 4 and his lack of mobility is negated.

How Is this okay? Hes the jack of all trades, but hes still the master of a lot! WHY PICK ANY OTHER TANK?????

I just really dont understand how hes allowed to have this much in his kit and still have it all be good.

Silence is considered soft CC

Mb, ill edit that.

Still too much cc to be considered a juggernaut though

You can list things off a lot of champions and make them seem OP.

-Passive that gives him tier 2 boots speed at level 1 onward

  • (Q) Three sources of damage that operate INDEPENDENT of him in addition to his regular ability damage and is only 20 mana -DPS and Burst on those three damage sources -1325 range W that can proc thunderlords on its own, is AOE, and can nuke a champion to half -Stun with 970 range that even if you miss also slows, AND gives his Q ability more damage -An ultimate that is ultra overloaded. The choice to buff ANY of his basic abilities. Q gets another huge damage form AND permaslow. W gets the ability to 100-0 any squishy, and E gets THREE stuns and slows.

It's Heimerdinger. You going to call Heimerdinger OP?

"How Is this okay? Hes the jack of all trades, but hes still the master of a lot! WHY PICK ANY OTHER TANK?????"

What about reliable CC or engage? Running at them and hoping your Q with a massive delay isn't reliable, even with Righteous Glory.

Ah okay yes that's my bad i didnt consider that part when saying that final statement.

But my point is, Why is a tank allowed to do so much damage? Doesnt that completely send that balance philosophy into flames? Usually it goes Tanky > less damage, Squishy > more damage. The exception to this are juggernauts, but theyre immobile and dont have much cc. Cho has tankiness, damage, and although unreliable, 2 soft cc abilities and 1 hard.

He doesn't have mobility, and has way more damage than a tank. That is why he is a Juggernaut, and not a tank.

But he has way more cc than a juggernaut, so therefore he is not a juggernaut

He has barely more than any other juggernaut. He has two forms, most have 1. The categories aren't so set in stone that every character is homogenized. He is defined as a juggernaut because of his damage output and lack of mobility. Compare his damage to something Like tank Sion or Maokai. He has way more, while also being less mobile.

Cho has three cc abilities, way more than enough to the point hes borderline tank.

His Q is too unreliable to be considered tank worthy CC. If I was picking for CC tank I would pick anything else every single time.

All of his CC is extremely conditional and unreliable, though. Nasus has way more reliable CC than Cho'Gath, by virtue of it being point-and-click. Both Udyr and Skarner have the potential to stun entire teams, and Skarner also has a suppress. Mundo has a permaslow.

Cho's Q knockup is extremel telegraphed and difficult to land. It's his main win condition, and if it misses, he can't do anything because he'll be kited to hell.

He is after buffs + gargoyle, but he's also an immobile melee in a meta that laughs at him.
