i never thought much of him as a support and have been seeing people play him as support. i have won against him in the majority of the games too. didnt think much of it. then i played it.

seems you can get Q stacks from hitting champions. His ult is no longer a AP delete button but a low health execute

he still has nice zone and he is pretty much that little guy that blows things up.

just slightly tweaked champion so he probably doesnt feel too foreign.

Impress your friends and play till he is Banned. Veigar support can be your next go to champ.

Weaknesses are getting constantly harassed is bad for him and full on engages when you dont just delete people = bad as well.

i havent personally him recently. but my friend who just started playing really enjoys playing him in support! its crazy!

It's definitely easier ever since they gave him that passive hit-for-AP.

It's just that he only has one cc ability and doesn't provide much more peel for his team. Without items he's just so squishy and does minimal damage '-'

It certainly works pretty well now since his stacking changed. I'd put him on about Brand-level of support, slightly below Annie and new Zyra. (This is just from my limited time seeing him bot/playing him.)

He's a bit like Blitz in that once you use your main CC and miss, you're pretty useless until it comes up again. If you're up against players who can bait it out, it'll get really bad.

If you get ahead early, you're golden, like any other mage supports. Generally though, I feel like it's a bit harder to do that though with Veig compared to Annie or Zyra, and that you're too reliant on your cc hitting. But if you play well with him already, can land Ws pretty often, and enjoy his moxie, go for it. He's certainly a big step above the crappy mage supports like Ahri, Fizz, Kat, LB, Kass, Nid, etc.

His ult damage is just absurd. You don't have enough health to withstand any sort of extended trade post 6 because he can just ult and you instantly lose any trade. Not to mention his cage is up just often enough that it can be hard to play around if they are using it effectively.
