Can we please do something about the PD/DD combo?

It literally invalidates an entire class of champs.

How can assassins rely on their burst when its mitigated?

At least with armor stack you can itemize against it, to try and help you deal with their defensives.

On the topic, why the fuck are marksmen the receivers of flat damage reduction and not tanks?

People have been crying for years that tanks get shredded too easily because armor is worthless late, so why not give the best defensive method to tanks? Instead you give them to the highest damage dealing class.

42% reduction is a joke.

6 items, you're practically saying to assassins "Hey, I know its 50 minutes in to the game, and everyone has full build, but you are only going to be dealing half damage. Sorry about that."

Get your shit together.

Nerf Nunu all you want. He isn't the problem. Nerf Ivern all you want. He isn't the problem. Until you realize that the problem is marksmen, you will constantly struggle to make the game enjoyable.

that kind of also is armor but I get your point. it's too broken on certain adc. how about we make this a unique passive so they don't stack, either the full damage reduction or damage into bleed reduction?

That's what it should be.

It is different with armor though.

If you see your opponent stacking armor, you can sacrifice some AD for ArmPen or Lethality to deal with. If you see your opponent stacking flat damage reduction, too fucking bad, you're worthless.

truly. I still dunno what riot was doing with DD. I play the champions that love the item and even I was like "really? we're really doing this? almost 70 armor/mr worth of stats on an offensive item?"

######I have no concern with balance. Just stating this only with the purpose for your information.

The calculation is done through a multiplicative way. In other word, it's not as simple as 12%+12% = 24% damage reduction.

It would be, in the form of "how many damage is taken", like 88% x 88% = 77.44% damage taken. That's a 22.56% damage reduction. Not 24%.

In your case, putting aside Death Dance's pseudo "damage reduction", it would totals up to 38.4% damage reduction, not 42%. Just a small difference, that's all. ^.^

does that calculation include knights vow?

It was not included in my example, if that's what you're asking.

If you mean if the method to calculate this applies to knight vow, then yes, it does. Combining it with Death Dance's "damage reduction" and Phantom Dancer's damage reduction, it would equates to 45.8% damage taken.

thats like saying item 3075 invalidates a whole class of fighers and marksmen and item 3036 invalidates tanks

Well we're getting a new pseudo-TM item in the next patch, so that'll probably make tanking ADCs much easier.

hopefully it will so i can stop having to hear complaints on "I dont know how to fight Tryndamere so he must need a rework cause i let him hit me a bunch of times and didn't understand he has a passive crit chance and i dont like champs who are strong early game" type stuff on the boards.
