After playing Morde for a bit I have a few ideas for the King
TLDR:
- New Passive Desecrated Ground
- Q Triple Skillshot, 3rd hit accumulates damage based on last 2 hits
- W gives movespeed when interacting with passive
- Maintain E's functionality of old Passive
- R Interaction with passive
DEATH METAL
After Mordekaiser uses an ability the ground slowly becomes Desecrated over 'x' seconds and lasts for 'y' amount of time, slowing enemies that walk over it.

MACE OF SPADES
Mordekaiser can use this ability 3 times before going on CD. With each swing he smashes the ground dealing damage in an area (highest at the epicenter) knocking back minons, causing the ground to become Desecrated. The damage from the first two attacks will be added to the 3rd. If the first two attacks hit, the 3rd will also knock up champions.

HARVESTER OF SORROWS
When active Desecrated Ground will deal damage over time to enemies, healing the king for a portion of that damage. The movespeed lost by enemies while moving through Desecrated Ground will be siphoned over to Mordekaiser and his allies while this ability is active.
SIPHON OF DESTRUCTION
Dealing damage in a cone and spreading Desecrated Ground, Mordekaiser gains a shield equal to a portion of the damage dealt in total.
GRASP OF THE GRAVE
When active Desecrated Ground unravels the hands of the dead, raking the living toward Mordekaiser dealing damage over time, champions standing in Desecrated Ground can only move laterally or toward Mordekaiser. If a minion, monster or champion is slain on Desecrated Ground while GRASP OF THE GRAVE is active they will be taken and reborn a Specter to fight by his side.
- Desecrated Ground takes time to ferment to give people time to play around it and not create automatic interaction for the current trade but for future trades so Morde can makes strategies around it rather than it be a built in Iceborne or Rylai's
- Added counterplay to his Q, not being in range is not counterplay, it's so easy to shit on melee champions that have to be in range and neither is it interesting to have someone recognize that and play passively for the rest of laning. Now that it can miss and is compounded by conditionals for its damage it's safe to put in some extra utility if you get 3 home runs, you earned it
- I like the IronMan passive but because it's attached to all his magic damage its barely ever down, especially end game which is not really fair once you've built damage (because of Q), I like the interaction it has with his E, there is counterplay to that, together those two are fine so I'd keep that interaction
- Morde's current R is incredibly overloaded for macroplay and objectives, you don't choose between ghosting an enemy or dragon you get both one after the other, if you want a 2nd rift herald you'll have to burn your Ult for it, no free heralds anymore
