Akalis kit is 6miles past being unfair

If enough people are banning a champ to make it that high, that's probably indicative less of "refusing to adapt", and sounds more like "exasperated with bullshit mechanics", which given Riots track record seems more likely.

Most mages counter Akali tho... avoid Akali when she's in the shroud if you're really that scared of her... but good counterpicks are Liss (the standard anti-assassin mage), Syndra, Zoe, Ahri, LB, Veigar (quite hard too since his stun has such a big radius). Ryze, ... Taliyah too. This is all cuz her E is extremely telegraphed.... Ranged CC hurts her drastically... If you're concerned about the shroud and tower mechanics.... don't let her push u under tower, her waveclear is comparatively bad early game, and requires she use a lot of energy. She's good into melee matchups, and counters assassins yh... but remember none of her abilities are blinks, only dashes.. they can be interrupted. and dodged. Save ur CC for when she's gonna engage (preferably after the E)..be careful when she shrouds, dont completely back off if unnecessary, def poke if ur able. Zoe works especially well against her cuz the animation from her sleepy bubble shows where Akali is, allowing u to land the extra burst with Q... Ryze's prison should do the same... can't recall.

MR and Armor are never ineffective... Even just getting mercs cuts down a lot of Akali's power, decreases the duration of her slow and stun, whilst also decreasing magic damage.... Zhonyas can also be useful not jsut for the armor, but the active part as well.

Keep track of not just Akali's HP, but her energy as well... yes it regens a lot faster than mana, but she also ends up using a lot more, much more quickly, especially when she's forced to manage the wave.
