Can we buff or change banshee veil ?

This item survability core is so bad, It's actually better to buy zhnoya, against magic casters. Just anything can pop out the shield from it, item 3087 item 3285item 3030 item 3146 item 3152 , just this item is kappa currently.

I would like to have something to counter Malzahar R as a mage, but item 3140 as a mage is weak. I know that mages with AP QSS would be hard to get, so it's not solution to do AP QSS item.

There was an item on nexus blitz called Bloodletter's veil, which was giving us a spellshield for 2 seconds, whenever we dmged someone with an ability (30 s cooldown). Of course it sounds like a trap for noobs, but for example if we would change the spellshield to actually work only on ultimate, it would be a good item, and it would give actually a chance to outplay malzahar, and on the other hand he would get a second spellshield for free whenever casting r, lmao. Actually I think this item would be much better for mages and assassins to usage than current banshee veil.

Banshee veil was better as a tank item.

that item sounds way better than the current veil. would like a veil that can shield you from abilities when you want (in combat) rather than randomly losing it to some ability you dont care about.

So, you are saying it would provide a spellshield when you R, with some good AP on the item....

It shouldn't be popped by splash damage. Only direct spell hits. I rarely even bother to buy this thing anymore. Seems pointless.
