I feel like kassadin is still pick or ban champion.

Even after - 5ms which made him unplayable, Kassadin still is somehow solid pick on soloQ, and it's often banned or picked, how ?

His main problem (except his op late game, or welp he is quite good even after 6), how efficient he is vs other ap. Good kassadin will just win the game in lobby, unless he is a total idiot that will feed early, but even if he survives to late game he still will be problematic. To shut him down at 16 lvl u need to chain cc him with at least 3 champions, so after zhnoya he won't use his 2s r and flash.

I think his passive and 16 lvl R should be nerfed, he can get a bit of armor in exchange for nerfing his passive.

What do u think about current state of kass and what changes should he get?

it's funny how boards consider Soraka a weak champion while Kassadin is considered an op/pick or ban champ

If you see the stats, there's just 0,3 % winrate difference with the same playrate between them

Kassadin, except for his banrate, has almost the same numbers than Soraka, Kha, Reksai...

And has worsse numbers than Yi, blitz, janna, nami, ornn (You remember? tanks are useless and that stuff? xD), darius, mf, leona, senna, jinx...

Anyways, as some of them, he requires a nerf. As games last on average 30 minutes ~, kassadin's winrate should be worse. But it's not like if he were Sett

He tends to overspecialize team comps to be TOO single target oriented, ultimately losing the game. He's a strong champ, but he's not strong in very many team compositions.

A champion with 1 sec cd flash somehow is also tanky, oneshots enemies and heals off it. Perhaps picking a roaming AD assassin and winning the game before 20 could work against him, but the champions I play mid are weak against him so I just keep banning him. For a changes, if we still want to let him has his mobility, he should have some cooldown on burst damage. Something like "Every 30/20/10 seconds Kass' next R will deal damage", that damage is around x1.5 of what he has currently, and his normal ults deal x0.5 of what he has currently, cooldown is affected by cdr.

Just amazes me how kass doesn't even need to take electrocute, conq, dark harvest, sudden impact, etc.. all these damage boosting runes and can just take fleet, play like an absolute bitch, then 1v9 anyway and still one shot majority of the roster.

They need to gut his late game damage so they he's forced to take those runes to do the damage he's currently outputting, rather than getting to do it while taking sustain. Taking the sustain rune should trade-off vital damage, not add safety to already existing damage.
