Ping MIA Where The Enemy Will Go

When an enemy is missing, ping MIA where they might be going. Do it only once and ping the portraits of the champions who might be coming.

I write this as a midlaner who, having pinged and having seen ally midlaners ping only in mid lane, noticed that during the late game teammates will ping MIA on each other to warn of coming enemies. It occurred to me that there’s no reason not to do this during lane, too.

Any thoughts on this?

Are you sure they were pinging to warn of enemies? MIA has a question mark animation to it, and is often used as a passive aggressive way of questioning an ally.

Yes, I’m sure, since they also pinged the approach routes. It’s better to ping on your teammates, just like with On My Way or Help!

Or it can be seen as you as a midlaner think someone from bot is missing if u ping on their lane.

If you ping missing on their lane, then ping the enemy who is missing, there can’t be a mistake. You can ping danger if they’re not listening.

It might be better to ping danger(?) at the lane they are going to if u go where the other midlaner is going. Cause some(most) people don't react to enemy missing pings even tho it is on top of them and the enemy is going that way and u know it. Even tho I'm saying this as a bronze midlaner who knows that the other midlaner is coming bot and I ping them from the start of the river at the mid MIA to their lane, but they still stick around like it is pointless to run away from giving the enemy side a kill and and 2-3 assist and better off getting 1-5 CS that is closer to the enemy tower.

Ping MIA, then Danger if they overstay.
