Now that I almost always get Morellonomicon, even Morde can get 40% cdr without any effort!

Another soul lost to the CDR creep :^)

It is actually harder to stay at 40% without going over than it is to get 40%. Which is sad.
Up until I saw transcendence in the runes reforged update I had thought Riot was intentionally using CDR creep to stealth-balance items by making some builds less efficient. Can't have cleaver, IBG, spirit visage and righteous glory. Can't have triforce+frozen heart+any MR item besides Zz-rot.

As a mage? Not really.
Of these, the most common core build is morellos, banshees, zhonyas.
ADC - easiest AP Mage - second easiest
You are right the common mage builds currently do not go over 40% because they are grabbing pen. But also because no one wants to build excess CDR if they can avoid it. But by doing so they cutoff other optional builds. Not saying they are great, because AP items really lack diversity (all Damage, some passives/actives).
But the fact that 40% is so easy to hit with so many builds kind of ruins CDR for me.

With the new runes, transcend will change build paths, allowing to overlap on CDR
No Rylai's?
Don't need to sucky slow if you kill them?
What is Rylai? that Garbage item?
who needs it if you can just kill the dude in 1sec?
People who try to flash Q3 :^ )
fix when Rito James?
I know I can rely on my team.
And even then Rylais has been nerfed into non-existence. It just isn't worth it anymore.
MM, I may not agree with everything you say.
Some things you say make me confused.
Some things you say have me roll my eyes.
But if there's one thing we can agree on...
is flat out horrible, even for a lot of its intended users.
and morello's power budget needs to be spread out more evenly across other items*

No Rylai's?
It was core now its garbage
People spout that at me all the time.
" Where's Rylais ? Where's Rylais"
In the dumpster unfit for use
I mean, you technically go out of your way to get an item whose passive and 1/3rd of it's stats are useless on ya. If you're willing to make the sacrifice to do that, I think that counts as effort.
You don't build Nashor's MM? With enough CDR, Q actually becomes gated by Morde's AS and not his CDR, because of how tiny Q's CD is around midgame.
Not a huge fan of Nashors. Morello provides more damage and grievous wounds, which is really good in the current meta where everyone and their mother got some form of healing.
Plus Nashor's damage doesn't feed into Iron man.
Nashor's damage doesn't feed into Iron Man, but it's a difference of only 20AP. Doesn't the higher uptime and frequency of Qs compensate for 20AP less?
Nashor gives attack speed that morde doesn't use he doesn't even use nashor passive because morde kills people from range mostly and at best proc 2 Q
Nashor doesn't give GW like MM said, and you need that shit in this meta so badly
And mordekaiser is a superior user of GW than other mages cuz with DFT he will proc GW in AOE for over 10 sec if they fall below 40% during the DFT dot
I could've sworn that his Q attackspeed was fixed to prevent him getting 3rd q too fast, but clearly I remember wrong. His base attackspeed isn't even all that bad.
One thing that's noteworthy though is that he had a pretty high attack delay - I don't really know all the details about how delay is designed to interact with higher attack speed, but either way it makes it harder to actually get the attacks off - someone with enough movespeed can keep canceling your autos by walking out of range as you wind up, which makes them a lot less reliable.
I've never seen a post like this...
MM what's your thoughts on the new Steraks? Worth going Bruiser build again?
Surely Nashors would be much more useful than Morello?
Most Mordes don't even get CDR at all save for an occasional
so the idea of 40% CDR Morde is interesting.
