Just played another game where I was forced to waste 20 minutes of my life on a 3v5 because 2 clowns kept disconnecting, why is this allowed?
Not only do I have to accept the fact I'm losing unfair LP, but I have to spend 20 minutes getting my anus reamed because it's an unfair match.

(I was in my promos). He went into lane, gave first blood before minions spawned, and proceeded to follow me around the jg and steal creeps while top also trolled.
That was the first ranked game I ever left, and I got restricted for it. So yeah, I'd love some countermeasures to trolls and afks.

Then you and your duo would be banned. It's that simple. Reduce the surrender time/disband the game when people afk, punish the people that afk. Easy peasy.

I'm all for reducing surrender time by afkers, but they have to meet some quota, e.g. have 1 person afk for at least 10 minutes gets you -5 minimum surrender time. 2 afk for 5 minutes, surrender @10. Both instances need to be afkers that never connected.

Sometimes AFKs come back (just client crash or whatever), so allowing leaving just because of AFK isn't really good either.
I won a game where I was Cait and my support didn't show up till like 7:00 or later. I played cautiously, farmed under tower, and when supp came back, we did fine.
The policy is aimed at giving games that can still be won every chance of still being won.

and i was pointing out that surrender is an option but all the idiots who defend the 20 minute timer and say every game is winnable think that when people suggest a lower timer that its going to be a forced surrender

High51 votesI down vote ever daily reminder I see, but I do totally agree with your point. AFKs suck hard. I learned and don't AFK anymore. Players in the past shouldn't have been penalized for me AFKing.
bad manner kid1 votesI would only be ok with this if there was a clause that in 10 minutes the player has had less than 5 minutes of activity, meaning, they are/were AFK for the majority of the early game. There are cases where someone is d/c'd for 5+ minutes and comes back with a competent team.
It's difficult to prove but, I agree, multiple quitters is a game that should be null and void early.
