ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!

There seriously needs to be an option or opportunity to eject yourself from games without penalty. So many times I have gone into a Draft Pick (rank more often than not) and either A) Ran into someone (or multiple people) who was offensive and toxic right out the bat, or B) Completely disregarded the picks of their teammates and chose a role that had already been taken. Situations like this absolutely suck, because you're in a lose-lose situation; either you play through the game and end up having a miserable game experience, lose at least 20 minutes (and in Ranked 20-some IP) of your time, and all you can do is submit a report that you never hear back on, or you dodge the game, get penalized at least five minutes before you can play another game (and in Ranked lose some LP anyways), and can't do anything about the offending players.

My personal suggestion is that you give players a button to hit when it's obvious that the "teammates" are a legitimate problem, and then afterwards allow them to submit a report like a variant of the post-game screen, explaining why they opted to abort the game. Obviously this suggestion is imperfect, as there's nothing about how to keep people from abusing it so they never have to compromise or play anything except what they want to. But even without this half-baked suggestion, the point is there; people shouldn't be penalized for wanting to avoid playing with obviously toxic players, either by being forced to play through 20 minutes with said toxicity or being punished for "justified dodging".

riot already fixed this problem...except they didn't

ranked uses the exact same system as normals, so where's our teambuilder ranked?

They're working on Draft Teambuilder. It's tricky cause they have to balance letting people pick the role and champions they want while still integrating the banning and counterpicking, and making it all work in an efficient and expedient manner. When they figure it all out it SHOULD replace the current Draft Pick system.

But in the meantime I would personally still want a means of ejecting from a game without being penalized if I'm dealing with an obviously toxic or immature/selfish player.

the funny part is that champions "require" banning XD like in hexakill, if you didn't ban katarina and yi, you were just asking for your whole team to get killed, or jinx to do the same and scale more, then niche picks like shaco who can kill who he wants, etc

This suggestion has been beat to death already. As you already said in your post, another problem would arise. People would use this as a way to "dodge" games when someone picks a champion they dislike or isn't "meta".

The main problem for the more popular "solutions" to fixing ranked, is that they create another problem which replaces the one they are "fixing", making the change pointless.
