It's a free to play game full of casual people and hardcore people alike. If you do not wish to get casual people who don't study every aspect of the game and like to log on for a few games before/after work or family time then feel free to find some like minded people and start a group so you don't have these troubles. But you don't have a right to tell people what they can and can not do as you are no more important then they.

If you want to be casual and have casual games that is what normals are for. Ranked on the other hand is for competitive play. By you not looking at patch notes you are deliberately holding your team back because you are too lazy to take 2 minutes out of your life to do something simple. Normals is fine but ranked is not where you go to suddenly discover things. I shouldn't have to explain to someone how the new dragon and items work in a ranked game.

While he's a little harsh in his wording, he's right. You really should be reading the patch notes. If they seem too long to read, there are multiple sites and YouTube channels that do patch note overview or read throughs

It takes like 10 seconds to skim. You don't need to sit and study them for an hour, but just look at them to see what is going on.

We all got busy lives, that's not an excuse to waste people's time in ranked.

Maybe to others who are trying to have fun in a game you are wasting their time by being toxic and Crying that they are playing at an LCS lvl in low elo. It's all perspective. Open up and see others side of things you will go father in life.

Posting here is pointless. The people who care about the game enough to read the forums will care enough to read patch notes and probably read one updates.

Thought that until i got someone actually defending the notion that it is okay to go into ranked blind. THere are certain patch notes that you should probably read and major meta changing ones like this one is one of them.
