The ban system is broken

Why do you prioritize punishing people who talk trash in game or... just talk in game rather than actually throwers and afks. If someone is "flaming" or bming you can do so much about it, you can literally just mute. But there's nothing you can do about people who straight up just throw or leave the game. I would rather have someone who trash talks all game because they want to win and play their best, instead of a silent dumbass who runs it down mid without saying a single word. Why is everyone such a fucking snowflake in games these days? Just. Mute. People. Who. Upset. You. anyway what sort of person actually cares about what others say in a game???

Because it far more easier to detect toxicity than to detect someone throwing or feeding intentionally Somebody might just be having a bad game. And having a bad game isn't against the rules

Ahh the classic "snowflake" insult I'm pretty damn sure almost nobody actually gets offended if some random dumbass starts flaming them. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished for breaking the rules Mute is there so that i don't have to deal with your toxicity, you get punished so that others don't have to deal with it

My guess is, for the simple reason is that throwing is very hard to detect vs. someone having an off game, and you really don't want to punish people for having an off game. So my guess is that it's not that they don't want to punish intentional throwing, it's that it's VERY hard to distinguish it from just off games.
