Tank/Juggernaut shrekker, won't die before getting in range.
Tank shredder/kiting machine extraordinaire.
Will be able to protect my ADC yay!
Won't die when somebody looks at me funny with my shield down.
Somewhat usable! No getting lvl 1 towerdove.
Still a shitty rework.

It's one step closer for me coming back to League after a year long hiatus. It's not much, but it's more incentive than anything they've done since Juggernauts (pushing away.)
I mean, if they keep up on the damage nerfs, admit keystones were a failure, finally address mobility creep and actually do something about it, and we see 10 bans solidified in the client once it's finished, I may need to step back onto the Rift.
The last time I was hopeful for Riot's direction, I got burned when they decided the spectator event was priority number one on their list of concerns, but I can't help but hope they're now realizing what a god-awful mess they've made and want to clean it up.
Eager to see what's next.

The thing that separates her from say, Riven, is that Riven mains are more likely to be toxic. Other than that she falls under the fun-to-play mobile damage dealer classification. People only want iron walls slapping one another with wet noodles.

Edge of Daybreak7 votesIt spikes every now and then but ahri hate is almost always relevant since she is pretty much always strong. I could go say ahri is stronger than a lot of champions who get nerfed and I'm right. Doesn't matter though because she isn't really as bs as some other things.

But if she ults in and misses her charm you dont get to punish her for that unless you are someone like ryze with a point and click cc because she will just ult away and even after her two ults if you catch up to her she still has flash.. That's my only problem with her.

For example, if tanks live longer and ADCs don't die in 2 hits, ADCs gain value because their consistent damage is now needed to kill things. Same for Captain Teemo here. Teemo thrives in an environment where he doesn't get towerdove at level 1 and die instantly. He needs time to scale up from safety and deal DPS. This is why he is more viable in a tank meta than in a burst meta.

Given how Teemo can build with versatility, combined with the fact that Teemo's enemies can use burst damage to a much greater degree than he can, I'm pretty sure that Teemo mains will benefit from a nerf to burst damage.

NineTailedMystic1 votesEh, at worst, I notice Brand usually goes kill for kill in lane at 6. Brand update was a mistake. 12+% maxhp that scales why. R prioritizing 3 passive stacks why. R innate slow why. R QoL changes why.

NineTailedMystic2 votesThe things I listed just baffle me. He's fine for the most part, but the 12% scaling Max HP is there for no reason on top of his old %burn. The R prioritization is dumb as shit, I killed a Brand near his tower at 6 dodging all of his spells (except E) but he puts his R on me as minions come and it bounces between me and the minions all 4 times up to my own tower, procs his passive, and I almost die from 90% HP. I don't know why his R has an innate slow attached to it. And then the R changes so it retargets when its current target is no longer valid by Zhonya's, untargetability, or death.
He was fine before, but he got unnecessary buffs like Vel Koz did just so he'd see more play.

These were real QoL changes for Brand so he'd be more viable. I imagine you haven't played Brand often enough to notice he had a lot of issues.
The max HP damage is so solidify him as the anti Tank mage.
If you notice his ratios are poor to make up for this.
All of his burst is tied up in his passive, and he struggles against mobile targets he can't hit.
Not to mention the range onhis E is so low he puts himself in danger to use it.
The took the RNG from his ult so he could be more reliable.

That's just balance out to neutral. Less free damages for everyone, even tanks who get the targetted masteries & rides on base stats (& maybe runes too) alone. To make up for this lost of damage, people will need to buy damages. This will affect the damage "supports" for have less access to gold. It won't push them out (unfortunately) but this will drop their power a bit (thank fucking god).
Also, fuck damages "supports".

(Altho Lethality becoming really good again, BC if only used in few situations on Riven vs Tanks so imean, I'm prolly getting squishier aswell now.)

With Riven, you have to think of her as a melee combo adc, she has mobility- but that's also her damage, if her shield is down, she's as vulnerable as any marksmen, she has low base armor and scaling so unless you have GA already then you basically get popped by anyone with any type of damage.

Broken Wings can take you very far, and if you're worried about getting popped w/o your shield, you are definitely not using it for damage at that point, you are running away. I always laugh when Riven mains want their precious broken champ buffed, when they fail to realize that she has the lowest CD and some of the highest damage of any manaless champion. In addition, she uses a bug that Riot refuses to fix. If they fixed animation cancelling, then yeah, she could use a buff. But as long as Riven abuses a bug while already having stupid low CDs, you have no leg to stand on.

Never asked or will ask for her to get buffed, she's in a fair spot right now, if you learn to play against her or play her a little you can find who and what items counter her. o-o

Well i mean the Op says " Won't die when somebody looks at me funny with my shield down." which is completely true right now, the build for Riven with the Lethality buffs is full Lethality, maybe a Cleaver, so it's more than likely there's a lethality Jayce/Quinn or even Renekton on the enemy team that will blow you up if you use your shield, and this can happen at level 5 even. :p
She's viable and the OP said nothing about her not being Viable, just that it's hard to do good right now.
NiceTryVi1 votesLol are you serious? Riven still has her stupid survivability, her shield is based off AD. I haven't seen a Renekton in a very long time, and Ray even showed how shitty Ren is right now in the LCS the other day. And Jayce and Quinn will blow up anybody, not just Riven.

If anyone is wondering, I use 0-18-12 on him with windspeakers blessing for the healing boost on his w.
