This community sucks. Hard.
Just got through a norm game, playing Lux. At one point, I was literally 11/1/3, my first death coming after I ran bot, got in an extended fight, and killed like 2-3 people. Wanna know how I was congratulated for me carrying through our shitty early game play, with our top lane going somewhere around 0-5 and me being the primary carry of the game at that point?
I was constantly harassed and told that I suck. Like, really, just because mutes exist doesn't mean that's the go ahead to be a dick because people could mute you. Any time I missed a skill shot, and mind you that during the early game I was basically hard carrying and keeping us in the game solo, with everyone forcing stupid plays off of my presence alone, I got ping spammed and told off by 3 out of 4 allies on the team. Only person that wasn't a dick that game was our support, unironically.
Eventually, I decided that I had enough of their shit, but because I don't like inting, I decided to split push and pressure side lanes for the rest of the game (although I did let bot inner fall on purpose, which I later made up for by taking the enemy bot inner and most of the enemy top inner). At that point, my toxic allies got enough momentum to win 4v5 without me consistently while I was splitting, and we eventually won with my allies spamming "?" in all chat at the enemy. Even without team fighting for a solid 10-15 minutes, I out-damaged our jungler and almost out-damaged our adc. So with this in mind, what did I actually do to deserve people flaming me all game? Why do people feel like it's necessary to go out of their way to ruin other people's fun by being toxic, THEN victim blame others because they don't like being harassed online by them? I'm sure people that play this game have people they talk to irl. What changes that makes you enjoy losing with upset teammates more than just playing the game you logged in to play? I'm honestly curious as to why everyone knows LoL's community is highly toxic, but does nothing but perpetuate that notion.
