Why play Tahm Kench when there's Cho Gath
The Kench changes means he brings absolutely nothing to a team fight.

Can Chogath heal for 1400 HP? Or teleport from fountain to enemy inner turret?
Nah.
Expect untargetablility for one teammate, shield that can make his hp double, smaller tfs ult for TWO ppl, up to 70% slow or stun, other than that, nothing, you are right. Oh yeah, he can 1v1 anyone who will get to close, adc, mage, bruiser, tank, every one. Idk what would you add to him, but he seems pretty OK.
Tho glacial augment ap cho is probably better mid lane than him, that's right.

Smaller Not anymore. Level 16 TK Ult is 8500 units. This is ... 3000 higher than Gate/Skyfall iirc.
I dont get why people think "oh this one specific interaction is nerfed and he cant gobble an ADC and thresh lantern 600 feet away anymore!!" means the rest of his kit wasn't massive buffed.
Damage vs cc and how much you need to shut down a melee target.
Tahm does more overall damage and has more reliable single target cc. Chogath has more overall cc and more reliable single target damage.
