Were those Synergy/Counter sections too misleading and people were complaining?

they did give counters, (she has to stay in the zone to keep her target locked in) so people with knock back. How to counter her passive is to get somone who has an attack that does magic damage but scales with AD

They probably have it coded to the primary damage type of each champion, not the items they build. The way to get around that is to choose a hybrid champion.

yeah but champs like yorrick do bot physical damage and magic damage that also scales with physical damage

They didn't list specific counterpicks, though. Some people are too stupid to think for themselves, you know.
