How do people jungle with squishy adcs?

I've seen people running Kog'Maw and Twitch in the jungle. Every time I do it, I just can't manage to clear the jungle healthily at all and just fall way behind. I can't find a good guide for it anywhere, either. How do people do this?

You can't just stand there and tank all of the damage, you have to kite back the monsters, you should be able to find a guide on it on youtube.

This, and once you get red buff, kiting becomes a lot easier!

Not only is the kiting easier, it's also more forgiving to mess up since you get the HP regen. And a third reason to start red side, is for those dank krugs stun bonus being procced a LOT more on an ADC JG than most JGs can.

I haven't find any explanation on how to do that in season 6, with the new creep behavior. It feels impossible to pull now

I'll put it this way,

The krug buff stuns a target every 6 auto attacks, now imagine Kog'maw wiht his W on each camp, now imagine him not standing still as he auto attacks allowing himself to kite the mob especially after taking red buff to avoid losing too much HP because mobs on red side are only melee while on blue side, gromp/blue sentinel minions are somewhat ranged.

smite krugs for the buff, once they get there jg item most of them clear in no time.

Are runes/masteries super important for this? I just realized that I've had Double Edged Sword on my jungle masteries for Twitch, so clearly that wasn't helping anything.

I usually take my attack speed runes and tank/Ages masteries, just to be safe.

I'm sure your masteries and runes are fine just as long as it helps the champion you're playing in general.

Well I mean, I'm playing on a smurf which doesn't have all rune/mastery slots unlocked yet

Well then that's your answer. You can't do well if you don't have the best runes. You'll have to keep playing until you reach level 30 on your summoner level. All the best runes and masteries will be right there waiting for you.

Kiting a bit actually has let me manage to clear (I was 6/0 before dying in one game) so it wasn't entirely something I could blame my runes on. It'll be nice once I hit 30, though.

Start the jungle at Krugs, making sure to smite it. Then go clear raptors, killing the little ones first. Finally clear red with smite, which should be up. This should allow you to have enough health to survive your first clear and even potentially gank if you can clear a scuttle crab. Make sure to kite the camps to max leash range, but don't go out of it as that'll cause a reset. For items, make sure you start refillable potion and try and stay clearing/ganking until you can afford both hunters potion and smite upgrade.
