So I just played a game where I was a jungler in twisted treeline. Our 1/13/6 chogath told me all game that because I was jungling, I sucked. That I lost them the game. That jungling never works. All while running into 1v3's just to die so he could say to me "see, all your fault." So is jungling actually viable in TT (I thought it was considering the last 7 games in TT I've always had a jg...)
Gusicles2 votesIn Twisted Treeline normals, jungling usually never occurs. So people who play ranked for the first times don't play jungle. However, jungling is CRUCIAL for Treeline ranked, because then you don't share exp or gold between your team. It will be very rough for the laner if they are going 1 v 2, but in the long run (assuming the composition and skill is equal), the team with the jungler will win.

The real question is, do you take smite as a jungler? This comes down to preference, but I find it facilitates clear way too much to not be taken. So to answer your question:
Don't listen to him. Always jungle in Treeline.
