Azir's wall is supposed to prevent enemies from dashing through it. So why can Hecarim ult through Azir's wall? When Hecarim ults he charges forward. It is not instant like flash, but unlike every other dash he can go through Azir's wall.
Player of Games5 votesI may or may not be correct, but Hecarim's ult is classified as being "unstoppable" much like Vi and Malphite meaning they ignore all obtrusions or CC. If the former is true, the Hecarim ult has priority over Azir's wall CC

SouL1ess2 votesBecause if Vi, Malphite, or Hecarim can be stopped by Azir's wall, they will be hard countered by Alistar/Janna/Thresh who can instantly knock them out of their ult and eliminate a large portion of their kit power.
Visigoth1 votesSion can also do something similar with the initial cast, but once the wall is in place it can stop him, useful to go through the wall right as he tries to push you back. Similar to Hecarim, Malphite's ultimate (also being completely unable to be CC'd) can also go through it. Basically if a champion is "Immune to CC" for the most part they can go through the initial cast, but to go through a standing wall it has to be a dash.
So Sivir and Nocturne can spellshield the initial cast and it will go through them, however they cannot use the shield to walk through it. Same things happen with Morg shield and Olaf ult. However since Vi, Hecarim, and Malphite are all considered to be using a dash while also immune to CC they can go through.
