Can Bard Get a Skin?

He hasn't gotten one in, like, 3 years... I get other picks "need it more," but can we include Bard on the list... 3 years is a long time to be ignored. Thanks.

Meanwhile Soraka gets 2 skins within the space of 2 patches. Seems completely fair.

PJ Guardian was a Variant, it took little to no time. So that doesn't count.

Despite this it was still marketed as a fully priced skin, even after you take the price reduction that you get if you have already purchased a more expensive skin into consideration. Bard Bard, his last skin, is priced at 750RP, meanwhile Pyjama Guardian Soraka is 1,350RP or 752 RP if you already have Star Guardian Soraka, so 2,102RP all together.

That is because PJ is still a 1350 quality skin. It has a new model, texture, effects and recall that vary from the basic Soraka. Even though it shares these things with her SG skin, it still meets the standards of a 1350. It took them less work though because it shared the same things with another skin, so its not like she really got two skins back to back.

If they released two entirely different skins, both featuring new themes, effects, sounds, recalls for one champ back to back then there might be something.

(And pretty sure the price reduction for owning the original was 742 not 52 XD, but that really doesn't matter.)

So which is it? Either it is a good quality skin, in which case your original statement is wrong, or it isn't, in which case my argument still stands.

My statement wasn't "wrong". The fact is, she got a variant which did not count as time taken away from getting a skin. Its why she got her winter skin afterwards, cause that was the actual skin slotted for her. The PJs are variants, they hold the same quality level as their SG counter parts, but were an easy adjustment to make.

All that matters is Bard needs a skin... Look into his eyes. He doesnt want popularity, but he doesnt wanna be ignored either. For he is balance and 3 years is NOT balance.

should not matter if the champion does not get a lot of users using it. It is a skill based champ that most people can't handle, but shouldn't be ignored for that reason.

They probably know they'll have to up the ante big time, the penguin Bard skin is so good it has basically become required on him. There's tons of themes that would work on him though, PROJECT, Program, Pool Party with duck meeps, Bee-ard, Papercraft with paper airplane meeps, etc.
