Im having trouble understanding this ability. It has no range indicator, so its enhanching your next auto and uses that range, but i get thia strang little ring pop up when ever i try to attach, and cant ever seem to stay attached during flashes dashes ect. Any help on this?
Ok sure but why1 votesIt makes your next auto do magic damage instead of physical damage, scaling with 120% AD and 90% AP, applies on-hit effect and heals for all the damage dealt
How it WORKS, though, is unique
You have to point at the target and press Q. You don't Press Q and then click the target like most abilities. If you hold down Q, he'll do a little dash-around thing which is nice for your E fear.

it is a targeted dash with some damage on it same as fizz's q or yasuo e. the range (the circle that you see around target) is indicated on the target.
The range is shit.

you can choose the dash to end in front of or behind the target. This is selected through tapping or holding the ability button through the animation.
Dynikus1 votesIt's a really clunky and awkward ability until you get used to it, much like old taliyah W (not like it in the way that it casts, just in it being clunky at first) on quick cast (I think it's largely the same on normal cast) you press q over whoever you want to use it on, and it will cast it when you're in range. It's a very short range dash, not just an enhanced auto. press and hold q until after you start the animation to attach/jump behind them.
Umbral Regent1 votesIt's a Proximity Smart Cast - you have to mouse over your target and then activate the ability.
The Proximity part comes into play when trying to slip behind them with it: you have to press and hold Q while moused over your target while within a certain distance of them - hence the strange ring popping up. If you're within that ring when you press and hold Q, you'll slide behind your target.
