Soraka needs a touch of love

Could we have Soraka's max health cost on W lowered a small amount or perhaps an increase in her base health regen? Nothing major but something small to help compensate for the loss of health regen from Ancient Coin items that granted health per minion and mana regen that was often converted into health regen from Mikael's. I'm having a lot of problems with sustaining her health from early game to mid game and I often have to recall far more frequently then I used to because she is lack so much health regen during early and mid game. I'm really not enjoying the awkward frequently required recalls.

I feel you mate.

Personally I swapped over to Spellthiefs and now take a refillable at the start. It isn't a perfect replacement but it's something. A full health regen page helps too.

I do need to experiment with item 3303 more. I am a pretty aggressive Soraka early and could likely use it but I worry about mid game when its really dangerous to use Q on enemy team.

Don't worry about it friend. By the time midgame rolls around you'll have completed your tribute mission and you'll be speeding along at mach 5 whenever you hit someone with Q. XD

Well, I'll be giving it a try hopefully it won't back fire in my face.

You have to be kidding. She has been one of the top tier supports for like 3 seasons now. She honestly needs a nerf if anything. She has a 51% win rate across the board with a 56% win rate on mains. This despite being played above average. There is absolutely no reason to buff her right now.

Actually she is an okay support right now. By far, the top tier supports are Karma, Lulu, Nami, and Thresh

Of those champs, only Thresh has a higher win rate.

thats because karma/lulu/nami/thresh can actually help the jungler in ganks. A.K.A be useful early/mid game. Which is important because this meta is basically ALL about early/mid game. i HOPE she remains useless.

Frequent awkward recalls. That's my reason. It feels bad. It really ruins the feel of playing her when she has to recall so frequently. I'm not asking for crazy insane buffs, I just want a bit of sustain to make up for the major loss of health regen she had. It's very disheartening and "feels bad" when you have to recall when your team needs you but you just have no health anymore and no regen to get it back. It makes it so you jsut can't play her as much and spend a lot of time recalling (especially against poke comps) Also, if you think her W is what makes her powerful you obviously do not understand Soraka. It is a big feature of her kit but E placement is by far what determines if you are a good Soraka player or not.

Raka has good sustain in lane. All you have to do is land her Q, which is pretty easy to do. You should run out of mana before you ever run out of health, and that isn't an issue now with item 3301

Last I checked the majority of the game takes place out of laning phase. Also, Soraka hasn't been a top tier pick as a support for awhile now. Pretty much since Mage supports came bot. Even with mage supports dropping in popularity she still isn't a top pick with Lulu, Karma and Thresh taking top spots. Win rate isn't a great metric for telling if a champion needs a nerf or not...also I don't know what sight you get your info at but I can't find any site that says Soraka has a 56% win rate.
