does league deliberately put me into mismatched games? Trying to force me to learn to carry?

This devolved into wall of bitchy text real fast btw, so whoever has nothing better to do and read it go for it Just to bring my winrate to 50%? Literally lost 16 games in a row a while back when i was 16 wins more then loses, every single game some lane got smashed and snowballed by 15 minutes, before i would have fun games, people would help and communicate and such. and now, on my main champ that has an above 50% winrate, again, it feels fucking mismatched, one lane is getting absolutely stomped and jg is useless, and i'm doomed to lose, it's so fucking annoying being so powerless, i can't fucking save 2 or 3 rolls that feed immediately the game starts, this happens consistently, not 1 game, not every couple games, EVERY FUCKING GAME. i have not had a single fucking game where somebody didn't end up fucking 0/5 by 15 minutes, no matter what lane, no matter what role, no matter what i say or what i do, never has one role failed and the rest helped pick up the slack, i'm at the end of the line of dominoes and can do nothing when they immediately fall over but await the inevitable defeat to come crashing down on me. And When god smiles upon me and I randomly get placed with people who are even slightly fucking competent, AYYYYY WE FUCKING WIN BOYS. that happens maybe once every 15 games, i'm still leveling so people are still "learning" despite my lane opponents either clearly smurfing or showing some level of competency of the game and my teammates together have the cognitive thought of a fucking gold fish. It doesn't feel fair, i hardly ever get matched with people who know what their doing and it seems that the enemy team always does. Am i doomed to somehow fucking lead these god damn monkeys to victory over and over and over and over and over again? Because that's not fucking fun, i don't want to have to argue with my team every fucking game on what should be obvious decisions, like "hey we aced stop fucking farming jg, take an objective", but no. i get god damn animals every game, it's depressing, it's not fun, i enjoy the 10 minutes that i play at the start of every game before the feeding starts. am i guilty of feeding? of course i am, but not a single game in this team game has my team somehow been able to compensate for my mistakes, they normally already made even more than i did, and my mistakes just drag the team down even further, i gank bot, adcs gets plenty of kills, top feeds, refuses to not push and is always out of position, no wards. Half the time jg afk farms and support doesn't have the term "ward" in their vocab. I watch streams so i have good ideas on what to do, and some helpful people on boards have also given me tips. But i have to do the job of fucking 3 roles sometimes(mid, jg, supp) and i wish i didn't i wish i was blissfully ignorant and fucking garbage so i didn't have to suffer through unwinnable games over and over and over. /rant.

Yep, wall of text = TLDR. Online text is not identical to hard-copy text, and density matters. Keep paragraphs at two to three sentences to convey each point.

I hear you. I'm soon to be level 30, and maybe things will change, but the amount of mismatches this game sets up are truly bizarre to me. It would be one thing if it just threw you in and you were in the game right away, but supposedly they have some algorithms and such that add minutes to the queue time to try to make a good matchup -- YET 90% OF THE GAMES I AM IN ARE TOTALLY ONE SIDED.

HERE IS A THOUGHT: One thing I wonder about is if it comes down to the fact that champion match-ups can have a huge impact on the success of one team or another. Undoubtedly this is at least sometimes the case. With 130 champions it actually takes a quite high knowledge/skill level at this game to have very much insight into what champions match-ups (in terms of 5 v 5) are good and bad against each other. So what you usually end up with in the queues below level 30 are pretty much a random mix of champions on your team, and the same on the opposing team. This by itself might commonly lead to the situation where one team dominates even though the overall skill level between teams is approximately equal.

However, there are cases I have seen of profound mismatches, such as a team with average lvl ~27 versus a team with average lvl ~21 and the higher level team also had a premade of 3 lvl 30 guildies in it who all had high level champions crests and one was gold and one was silver, the other team was just a mix of lower levels who had none of that and they were roflstomped very hard.

When you consider the many thousands who play this game at any one time it is hard to imagine how some of these bad mismatches can occur, one wonders if it wouldn't be better just to throw us into random teams and make the queue time go much faster that way.....

It seems with this game it is important to learn to have fun even when you lose and even when your team is getting stomped hard, that is something I am working on.... :D

LMAO....You're level 24. You're not as good as you think you are mate. Give me a solo lane in any level 24 game and I guarantee, I'll carry 95% of those games and here's the kicker, I'm only Bronze. That's how bad you guys are. I don't say this to insult you but to humble you. You need to realize how bad you are before you can get better.

The most prominent thing I notice about people below level 30 is how terrible you guys are at laning. It's super easy to get fed off you guys. Every one of you always come into lane and spams the shit out of your abilities blindly hoping for a kill. You don't care how many minions you have or the opponent has. You don't care about csing. You don't respect your opponents cc or damage. All you guys wanna do is fight fight fight without any thought.

Learn how to lane properly and try to get solo lanes. None of that duo top bullshit and no one under level 30 understands how to support properly and they will take CS from their carries so don't play ADC either. Good CS is essential to getting yourself ahead. Get yourself a solo lane, preferably mid or if you get the rare sub-30 jungler, go top. Get as much cs as you can. 60 CS by 10 minutes is good enough down there. Try to kill your enemy laner at least once then roam. The rest of the enemy team would just hand you kills and more than likely by your CS lead alone, you'll be stronger than everybody else.

I hear what you're saying, but tbh, if that's what this game comes down to... trying to be the best in the world at last hitting minions... it makes it pretty much the crappest game ever. As a new player who has nevertheless invested quite a bit of time in the game now, it is a pretty unfortunate game mechanic at best. That's probably one of the reasons why other game modes such as ARAM and Dominion have been more popular among A LOT of the player base, even though Riot tries to force people to play the "correct" way as they see it and in the "correct" game mode.

New players are bad at laning because it is completely retarded, so they don't bother to try to get good at it until they are hooked enough on other aspects of the game to hold their nose and practice to figure it out.

Riot doesn't force anyone to do anything. New players can ignore minions if the want and fight all they want its not a problem. But you cannot complain when someone better actually comes and farms up and proceeds to kill you over and over in lane simply because he figured out that last hitting minions is a very effective form of gold generation. No one is forced to follow the meta. You can duo top or share cs bottom if that's what floats your boat. But face facts, based on the prevailing mechanics of the game there will be an optimal way to play and people after so many years have figured out optimal ways. If there is a way to win consistently without last hitting, then by all means work it out and teach the rest of us. Who knows, you might break the prevailing meta. People have done it before.

Without all the anger, I have the same views. I can go from B5 to B2 in about a day or 2, at B2 I feel like less people know how to play the game [ and I know ranked is generous about placements around here ] I was placed Bronze1 S5 - and I didnt know anythingabout the game and lost every placement match - This year I went 6/4 I think and placed B5.

I know how to win, what to do, and when. When I am with at least 1 other person that knows as well I generally win. If I play norms and queue with any 1 other person I usually win if I am not doing an off meta build/champ

Ranked requirements should be much higher than they are and MMR should be much tighter on match selections - people that lose should lose more, and people that win should win more - There isnt enough separating player skills withing leauges to make effective matches.
