I understand that riot is balancing around the lcs, doesn't mean i have to be happy about it

I also understand that pbe can change very frequently but these are my initial feelings/thoughts

Shen, Gnar, Sivir, Vlad, Taliyah, and Ekko are probably some of the bigger play makers right now in the lcs, or are just really strong picks for competitive play. All of them are receiving nerfs as of right now, poor Shenitem 3070. It annoys me that the normal player just has to take hits to their favorite champions just because the top 1% of players do amazing with them. The one with the second highest winrate is Ekko with 55 after taliyah, the others rest at ~49%

my girl Taliyah probably deserves a hit because she is straight up one of the best midlaners in the game and the pros and mains both do really fuckin good(51% win rate as an average and a 58% winrate for those who put over 125 games), honestly she will probably go the RekSai route of "being so god like in their specific role they will get nonstop nerfed and never being compensated for it", i think the harshest part of it is the hit the the Q no longer doing 50% to minions cuz pushing waves is bad yo, but it's not that bad and those who are great at her will still maintain that 58% winrate.

But SHEN MAN, CMOOOON, THE DUDE IS JUST DOING HIS THING HELPING OUT A SINGLE BRO AT A TIME MANNNN, even those who put a lot of games into him only have like a 50% winrate, it ain't right man #prayforshen.

I understand that you want more people to watch worlds and by nerfing the popular picks you'll force the teams to scramble and try to find some better fits, i understand that balancing around the performance of the 1% is simpler than balancing around the casual players because that would probably suck, because if champions that are just below viable for competitive being buffed to put them into competitive would probably just decimate solo q, it's just a damn shame when some champions that walk the line of being completely fine in both scenes like Shen get nerfed because they lean **too ** far close to the competitive side of things.

I could be wrong about a lot of what i said, but i say these things to open a discussion of it and would like your feedback and thoughts on the matter.

Vlad has one of the lowest win rates in the game and he's still getting nerfed. LOL

The thing in season 6 is that Riot more care about competitive play instead of the community, so we are all crying on boards, while riot rarely check the posts we write and take time to write for them. And nowdays, your mains gotta be champions that you think they are fun to play and not that strong because they will get nerf and you will not be happy about it, just like yorick (old one) never got changed since now so, he had potential.

From http://eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-617-notes :

Those of you who haven’t been around the international tournament block before may be wondering: “How is Worlds balance any different than normal?” First, our normal balance target is somewhere in the upper-plat range, but tournament patches skew more toward balance at the highest level of play.

Their "normal balance target is somewhere in the upper-plat range" and "the highest level of play" which the majority of us are not and that's fine. Why should they focus lots of balance on people who don't know the game and can learn to play better?

Don't forget Gnar nerf Kindred LeeSin Lux buffs (y? If you keep only buffing numbers, there going to be broken at some point, especially with Lee Sin) Lissandra nerfs(and not even that popular competitive)

The other side of this is that strong champs are also getting huge buffs just to boost them into LCS for some random reason. Like the huge WTF buffs to Jinx Brand Riven ults.

Like, lower elo Shen and Liss players can adapt to their nerfs. Lower elo Jinx and Brand players already steamroll through tons of games, and buffing their ults by 30-50% is just going to make them impossible to deal with in silver/gold aram.

That's why meddler says aatrox is fine and sees 0 play rate at worlds... And he tries to balance th game around lcs... Bullshit much?

poopy buffs

But they're buffing the wrong thing about her and only by a small amount. Until Poppy gets meaningful changes to her Q, she will be shit. Which is sad as she was genuinely fun to play.

why are they nerfing shen AGAIN??? is it over that dumb ass dodge zone they gave him or his ult this time or is it both? half the time you pick him for his ult to turn 2v1 etc into a 2v2/2v3

i'd rather balance around people who actually know how to play this game (:

You're silver, no one cares about your opinions besides other low elos

fair enough you have the right not to be happy about it. however riot makes majority of their $ through the ads during the pro play. last year the amount of people that watched world finals was comparable to the nba finals of the same year. yet the nba finals were on tv and league world championship on line. that is saying alot. so for them to care whether or not we are happy with the patch buffs or nerfs they can really care less they need that $$$$$$$

They don't nerf only based on win rate.
