@Riot: Is Ashe even on the radar for potential changes? Can't you at least experiment with some?
It seems like every time I either see an Ashe, the side with her on it ends up losing. Since explaining the reasoning would be playing a broken record, though, I'll need to try to refrain from it.
While I know everyone will say "don't pick Ashe in blind", how else are you gonna practice her? And when you try to pick her in ranked, odds are the enemy will already have picked counters to her. It's very frustrating when one of League's iconic characters is held back by so much and only finds viability in Platinum or higher tiers. Anything lower, and odds are you'll be reported for picking her (I exaggerate, but you get the idea).
Couldn't you try experimenting with some changes in a PBE setting, Riot? Or would doing even that create problems?
If you need ideas for changes, here's one: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/live-gameplay/Kd8x2ieq-do-you-think-ashe-might-be-better-off-if-her-frost-shot-were-a-limited-duration-steroid
The above change would PERMIT Ashe's slow to be stronger due to it having downtime, instead of being a perma-slow. This allows better counterplay for opponents like Udyr and Skarner, but makes the ability a bit better against gap-closers.
At the very least, Riot, please experiment with such an idea in your offices if you can't put it on PBE. Ashe's playstyle needs to be less stale.
