Out of curiosity, does Korean pros and high elo amateurs complain about the ladder?

because so far I know that western pros are praising KR ladder not only because of the low ping but also the fast queue pop and higher match quality, I looked up on op.gg, even though KR has almost twice the ranked population of NA, the amount of accounts above Diamond 1 0 LP is pretty much the same (1000 master 0 LP for both regions too). Why does it seem that NA high elo is super ruined in terms of match quality and queue times? One guess is that NA ladder is inflated with pros' smurf accounts given by Riot, that even the number of accounts on the ladder suggests a quite big population, high elo is still a small pool.
