Tried him for fun for the first time on my other account, omfg, free 400-500 AP, his Q does 1k+ damage late game, his W does 1.5k+ damage, his R does 2k vs AD and 3k+ vs AP. Massive AoE stun, with short cooldown, flash tp meta and its gg ez.
Anyone who thinks Veigar is balanced is wrong, I will abuse this freelo as much as I can before the nerfs come, which will come.

Tired of people believing in the big elo dick theory. I have played everyone from bronze, to diamond, to some master tier/challenger players and the skillgap between players is honestly not noticeable most of the time. Bronze > anything else is huge as those players are noticeably bad. from Silver > Plat people mostly play the same with Plat players tending to have slightly better decision making OR mechanics. Diamond players are noticeably better than say gold > plat, but not by so much that the gold and plat's can't compete with them. I've wrecked a few diamond players myself in lane and out of lane. I've carried over high diamond as well. Just because you are diamond doesn't mean you are a god. are you in general a better player? sure. of course you are. but that doesn't mean everyone else's opinion is below you're own.
The real talent in league is in challenger and high master tier. those are the players who can generally definitively say something and be able to back up everything without doubt. and even then, they are not to believed blindly as anyone can be wrong. I mean, people used to say "nashor's tooth on azir is bad why are you building it". all of a sudden its a slight buff and its meta? now im smart for building it? get out of here with your arrogance man. these people have a right to their opinion.

The Math behind your claim. You would have 493 ap assuming you started the match with 5 points in q and got perfect cs. Let's say you went 5 
s you would get 600 ap from that. Next is the 's passive which boosts your ap from 1093 to 1475.55 next you would need to get about 5 kills or 6 assists to achieve 1500 ap in 40 minutes. These terms aren't very realistic so unless your going 20 something with perfect cs and building 5 s it is impossible. (I only said 5 since the 6th item would be reserved for 
in order to do a good amount of damage while still being able to get to fights.
EDIT: I read the ap gain from minions wrong you can only get 203 ap in 40 minutes.

Next is the fact that you can only get 493 ap from cs at 40 min if you kill every minion with your q in one lane. Next is your claim to kills, to make up for your missing ap from the 4 s your missing you would buy alternative items like 
and 
both of which give you 20 less ap. Each kill with your q gives you 6 ap on champion and 5 on assist so you would need 13 kills and 2 assists to make up for the lack of ap.
To sum it up realistically you need perfect cs for 40 minutes, 's, 4 100 ap items and 13 kills with 2 assists to achieve 1500 ap at 40 min.
EDIT: I read the ap gain from minions wrong and the maximum ap after 40 minutes from minions is only 203. This changes the required kills and assists to be a lot more.

Dragonlord71371 votesOk using the new amount of ap from minion kills with perfect q cs at 40 minutes, (203 NOT 493) with s and 4 other 100 ap items you only get 723 ap then with 's passive you get 976 ap. 976 ap is quite far from the 1500 ap claim so how many kills or assists need to be obtained to get this much ap? about 65 kills or 75 assists. Although I don't agree with the practicality of getting 35 kills and 36 assists along with killing every minion with your q every game is possible just very unlikely.
To recap: maximum 203 ap from cs , 520 ap from standard build , 390 ap from 65 kills, 1113 ap in total. 390 ap from passive, brings us to 1503 (That's with rounding up each step.)

is really only strong once he gets enough ap. Early game you are fairly weak and mid game (if your not careful) assassins can 100-0 you. Also a good 
will dodge every ult you shoot at him and then proceed to 100-0 you.
Indominus Blade1 votesVeigar doesn't have a weak early game, he is pretty save, can farm from range and use E defensively to avoid ganks/dives. Recall, buy items, TP back to lane and farm up. At level 6 you already have kill potential without much AP, any gank results in a kill if you land your stun. Fizz early game is weaker than that of Veigar.

is a fairly good example of a champ with a strong early game since she can usually punish her opponents and force them under tower preventing them from winning lane. Whereas with your ideal lane is to just farm for ap and your going to be the one forced under tower and potential killed if you attempt to assert lane dominance. With lane dominance this means your opponent can roam very easily with your lack of vision and get the other lanes to snowball. This can leads to your team being put behind while the other team can grab objectives and kills easily.

Usually one team is down 4 members in the first 5 seconds of a fight meaning you would be hard pressed to get a second q off with that 5 second cool down. I've never seen a team fight truly last longer then 10 seconds.

W Q for the attack speed and knockup... you can easily bully him out of lane... if not get the kill. if you're quick enough with your E you can miss the stun from his wall entirely.
Also Zed is insanely good against Veigar.

Zed and Talon are probably the best against Veigar, but Xin, Yasuo, Lee Sin, Ahri, and Azir can easily bully you out of lane repeatedly. Hell, post level 6 Olaf or Warwick would be awesome against Veigar. Taking cleanse is quite normal against a mid laner with hard CC right?
