Galio should be able to ult himself

Being able to ult himself means he can use his ult in a 1v1, which helps his dueling in top or mid. Yes, it's already decent, but that's exactly the point.

Right now, all of Galio's 1v1 damage and dueling is put into his basic abilities. That means he ends up being stronger than everyone else who has a combat ult because if he couldn't match them after 6, he'd be a terrible laner and would be steamrolled. So instead, his abilities are strong enough to stand a chance even when you ult. The downside is that Galio is effectively at full power most of the time. He doesn't have the meaningful ult cooldown of other fighters or mages (top or mid). So when those ults are down, Galio is a million times better than them.

Galio's ult does good damage and has hard CC. It's also avoidable with flash or good mobility, and telegraphed, as well as interruptable by hard CC (I believe). It's not a bad ability in a duel, if Galio could use it on himself, so it's not like it'd still be useless (counterexample, Panth can ult on himself, but it takes too long and isn't gonna hit, so it's pretty useless if he just ults himself).

I realize this is kinda against his theme, but honestly balance should take a higher priority. He can still save others with it, after all.

you are gonna get hate over this and downvoted cuz people have this notion galio is "oppressive" "broken " "over powered"

some use the argument that he was picked in pro play full tank mid vs corki/rumble ( double ap comp) and cuz he didnt die 3-0-15 as full tank and his team won that means he is clearly broken so any notion that would seem to make him stronger... well is gonna be met with resistance to the idea
