Does anyone else find Support champions a bit strong?

All the support champions may seem weak because they aren't official carry champions, but does anyone aside from myself find them being too much nowadays? No longer a support even, now a full adc/mid/top laner. If played Ap, does shit loads of damage while having a kit that has a lot of utility. Troll of league who can go ap/ad, has utility, and actually does a shit ton of damage in the right hands. Doesn't even need to support because her laning phase is safe with her damage, broken hitbox, and utility. Where to begin with this one damn. if you have never seen soraka being played ad you're missing out, her attack speed, utility, and spammy ass cd rates are crazy. I'm no gem of a player, but spam rate Soraka has been a pain in so many of my gains to almost the entire team, no matter what role Almost a second Lulu. This one I have no words for ew. 's burst levels are crazy.....really needs to have his ratios looked at. etc. etc. etc.

I am not saying they should be helpless, but I've seen plenty of these go carry teams. Go ham af on people with improper builds. Idk, If they are meant to support, shouldn't they do that and be focused more so around it? I could be wrong, but I just feel in the right hands these guys are more worrisome than any Vayne, Yasuo, Tryd, etc. champions. Just my two cents though.

Lux NOT A SUPPORT , SHE IS A MAGE , people play her support cuz they didnt wanna play support ( MOST NOT ALL ) riot keeps buffing her in terms of damage to push her back into mid lane, the ult buffs a while ago with cd reset if you kill someone and now the lower cdr on her Q Alistar has all of his damage ratios nerfed to shit , can really only be a tank support Blitzcrank is a hybrid tank /fighter he is known as a " KILL SUPPORT" grab with Q and proceed to delete target as a solo laner his damage pattern is very predicable and dodge the Q and you dont die Lulu has been nerfed over and over for her damage , she is hardly viable in any role as a support , top lane, mid lane lulu not the same it use to be in previous seasons Sona has one damage ability HER Q , her e,w dont damage any one , yes her ult does have ap damage ratio but its an aoe stun meant to be just that Soraka ad/crit is a gimmick it kinda works vs some champs she out range but just need a champ that can all in her and blow her up she has no defensive and once again crit ad raka is AUTO ATTACKING any champ can AUTO and getting crit and ad will make their autos stronger , she has a high base attack speed that makes this possible , nerf that problem solved Bard legit only damage ability is Q and his passive on chimes he picks up Karma use to be a utility mage mid , she got out classed so people played her bot due to this her damage has been nerfed

supports like tanks have usually higher base damage but fewer damage abilities to be able to us the high base damages effectively . none of these are viable as you claim and works in low elos as troll picks cuz its unexpected and people dont see it often and dont know how to play against it effectively

So not that I like Lulu but I don't see her outside of support.

If Alistar (a tank who isn't really meant to fight people and doesn't have much solo lane support) decides to build AP over tank then it's no surprise he's going to hurt. He's basically buffing his flat damage however which makes him incredibly dangerous to squishies.

Bard: if he's building damage then he's going to do damage on top of that utility. The problem here is that damage builds costs a lot on a support budget so unless Bard is snowballing his adc hard or is not playing the support role then he ain't gonna build much damage.

Lux: she's basically a midlaner at this point.

Karma: not gonna lie, find her really dumb.

Soraka: if you build any high utility champion for damage they'll start to do damage. I've seen AD soraka, it's incredibly cheesy.

Sona: Lichbane is a pain.

Bliztcrank: old champion design that revolves so much around one ability so he kinda gets away with it.

Yes, but with Ap items beign very tanky and offering plenty of cooldown he doesn't lose out on much mr or armor or health, but gains a lot more damage in exchange.

I don't mind if she can play well, but on a supports build and budget, the damage is too high.

I just don't like the fact that she can spam her silence and remain doing crazy damage. Similar to Lulu

Sona: Lichbane is a pain.

Her burst is crazy.

They don't touch old champions, that why annie still becomes a lane bully after level 6.

Lulu wasn't planned to be a full support also an enchanter top lane when there is no tank meta and same for Lux, lux is a mid laner, but with the dmg, cc and shield and cheap items good for supp. We also had malz and maokai supp, both weren't planned as supp. Just the Meta changes and so the champions on bot has to changes aswell

Maybe and maybe not, but either way, their current iterations of having condemning levels of utility and damage is not cool. I mean Lulu turns you into her little pet thing and bursts you into nothing when she goes adc and at the same time her ult makes her plenty tanky. I have seen someone go machine gun lulu and tanky at the same time and it's gross.

When you will get something like yasuo supp or so. because no supp has good strength that other champions can't do.

That is only true on certain supports in my opinion because utility such as Lulu's ult and transformation don't go down or change after she builds any damage.
