A full AP build with some attack speed doesn't seem to work anymore. I have much better damage going AD.
What's her build now generally? On-hit Kayle feels pretty weak as well, to the point I feel like I need a BF sword to get anything done.

Oleandervine1 votesA lot of Kayle's power was shifted around recently to smooth out her game so she's not such an invalid early game, and not such an insta-win should she hit level 16 in late game. As such, some of her raw on hit damage for late game was shifted into some of her spells to give them a little more umph and usefulness to her earlier, so that's why you may be feeling like she's not performing the same. You'll just need to get used to her new pattern now, but she should still generally build the same as she once did.

FioraWillCarry1 votesI get the most out of on-hit/atk speed. Old Kayle was insane with raw AP and some attack speed but this new one is trash with AP unless you're playing a burst oriented style. AD/Crit is also monstrous but it takes far too long to come online. Only at full build does AD/Crit feel like 1v5.

+ lethal tempo + overheal + legend tenacity + last stand + transcendence + gathering storm + attack speed flex + armor flex + health flex.
That was my setup on Kayle before the recent nerf.

HeresyHorus1 votesImo, Rabadon is good only when u have 3 high ap items + 3 skills with high ap scalings.
Kayle + ur build doesn't qualify for Rabadon.
Infinity Edge scaling is way better than Rabadon because autoes scale with %100 ad + don't have cd + can't miss.
Kayle is an auto attacker styled champ + her spells scale with ad + her waves crit so it's better to scrap that Rabadon for gunblade which gives u good mixed stats + sustain + reliable cc with good damage.
Tenacity From mercy is a must. U can take the attack speed or life steal rune if the enemy comp is not cc heavy but merc is a must.
Runnan might be good since Riot has increased her range with the recent nerf but my point is that she is now worthless and heavily gutted but if I am going to play her I will get reaver instead of runnan for more crit damage + mana + max cdr.
All of the above are just my opinions. I might be wrong but I feel that was the best build on her.

Fear the Kayn1 votesI feel like shes even worse off now than she was before the changes to her level 6 spike. Now instead of being: Horrible (level 6) --->OK (level 11) ----> 1v5 (level 16), shes now: Meh (level 6) ---> Meh (lvl 11)---> Decently strong (level 16).
I feel like her waves should have started at level 1, then ranged form at 6, then extra range on AA at 11, then true damage/exalted at 16. Right now there's little point in picking her over 
top when Vayne is ranged, and has true damage at level 1.

It just makes cs'ing so much smoother and you feel like you're doing damage like you should be with all that built in magic damage and resistance shred on her Q.
