Riot, I've been a Diamond II - I top main for five years and still enjoy it. Do you consider me?

Hey Riot, I've been a Diamond III - I top lane for five years, do you consider people like me when it comes to "balancing" your game? Even if I believe you obviously don't I just feel like asking.

I actually must enjoy top lane enough to play most of my games this season in that role. I only bitch and moan when confronted with the likes of Jayce and Teemo but even then I don't seriously rant about it anywhere public. This is because ever since Season 3, the way I have been played has been based on Teleport plays, rotation, and solid macro. Teleport defines how I play, and my philosophy on playing League of Legends centers around it so much so that it is more important to me than Singed if he were ever slated for a VGU. I may not be able to successfully replicate the same playstyle on someone else if I were forced on him, but I could still apply the same logical gameplan and eventually be fine.

So naturally, Riot threatening to remove Teleport from the game or at the least threatening to remove its functions [as it is] for no reason was incredibly unwarranted and has left me distressed since. Every time I play now I constantly consider just how I would lose all agency and everything I have built toward learning over the years if the summoner spell were to go because Riot just thought of the negative aspects of its power than what benefits it has for the game. I also always thought map awareness and the ability to play off it is a major difference between even a Diamond 5 player and Silver, so removing this and forcing everyone into a lane dictated by Ignite would not only be stupid, it would force everyone into one playstyle whether they like it or not.

Even now I sit at Diamond III with only Singed no problems and have been for most of the season. I never complain about the champion balance or state of top, and just play as I have always, but the one thing I cannot stand is Riot threatening Teleport and I desperately want to know if Riot does consider people like me that are enjoying top lane as it exists for all the public moaning about the state of it.
