I mean we can go on like this for a while.. you can take back some you dont think are turly mages or whatever..

the fact is that the result will be the same... mages are the most abundant role i the game.

I don't even mind they made a new one, thats not what im saying.

Riot has obviously been playing catch-up with the other roles but apparently some people just dont wanna hear it.

While I think Zilean is more mage than support,I wouldn't call the rest of these supports mages(especially not leona,who is a tank),I mean by the same logic you could say that most of the supports on the right side are tanks and not supports.

Also you forgot Lulu

Though I agree with your general point,we have already lots of mages and could use a few more supports(and fighters are even more common than mages)

If you watch closely then you'll see his Q deals very sad amount of dmg even when shot across the map..

pbe said like 6.5 or something, either way it's still a good sized stun to let him hit with his passive more which does decent damage

Kass is a assassin and tbh I still dont think of lulu as a true mage. She is a support mage not a mage support (like orianna and morg).

Maokai and Galio are AP but are tanks. With that logic then leona and sej should be mages too.
